Location: Owensboro Jack Fisher Park
The 4th Annual 2008 Border Wars will be held at Jack Fisher Park in Owensboro, Ky on March 28-March 30th. The tourney will be starting on Friday Night (if needed) with 16 games being played starting at 6pm. The C and above division will be added to this years event. Highest finishing C team get a paid WSQ berth. The D division will also get a paid WSQ berth. The entry fee will be $225 for 2008. So if you have 16 teams in the D&E division you will still get the standard WS winning berth money and additional 16 x $25 =$400. More announcements to come about prizes once details are 100% accurate.
* We only use Friday if we have to. I have yet to use Friday night in the previous tourneys

County/Community Tourneys and Ky Championship Tourney
2008 I will be hosting a 15-man roster open class tourney and Ky Championship tourney for 2008. Trying to bring back the feel of the 80's when we use to have to play Districts and Regionals. The 15 man roster has to be made up of at least 13 players from the same county. You can also have players that have moved away from your county if they can show that they graduated HIGH SCHOOL from that county. Example: I graduated from Webster County in 1990. I live in Henderson County. If I want to play for Webster County I can and it won't cost them as one of the two out of county players. (For the record I am not playing.)THEY HAVE TO HAVE PROOF--DIPLOMA OR YEAR BOOK!!!!!!
I am looking for coaches to put these teams together to play in some of my "County/Community" tourneys and the KY Championship tourney. Lets represent all counties and have some fun. All NSA Rules Apply 3 HR Progressive. The state tourney for this will be October 16th-18th at Jack Fisher Field In Owensboro I will let Southern Indiana Counties and Tennessee Counties play in this. Lets have a tourney that starts on Friday and ends on Sunday like we use to have. 80+ teams again.
I will give prizes for the first 3 teams.
