| Well what a game this was....this was the first game all year where I felt that the ol' Rams had a meltdown...as it seemd that laswell was the only one who came ready to play...in this game you an see the Rams weaknesses but the good teams don;t make their weaknesses look as bad as The Rams have let theirs in the past few games...they can't guard big men to well but if the players learn how toplay their position they could actually do a pretty good job Salem mad e a few plays where I was thinking that the Rams should be doin it and that was on of The Rams players would dribble around the wing and start to drive only for a player to come from behind and tip the ball away from you that's a tip drill that the successful rams teams had always had and I know was practoced reguarly...somethin that also made me a little confused was the rebounding the Rams did in the game but notonly that the rebounding position they were in I know at least a few times where the ball was shot and the players didn't have a clue where the ball was...then there were times where a Salem player or players had a Rams boxed out and The Rams didn't fight for it they just said "ok it's your ball" now the exceotion to the rule was Laswell who went up I know at least 6 or so times between defenders or boxed out a few defenders to either get the rebound or knock the rebound away roma Salem defender I think one thing early on that I liked was a Salem defender driove the lane and left his feet and Mike Harkness fell and took a charge out of awareness...but youodn't see enouh of reaction on instinct from the Rams players..Goodman made a few nice passes in the post for wide open layups but the players he passed it too wwere lookin for the foul instead of making the basket which mae t more difficult to get points...then we had players forcing shots after a few passes and not setting an offense Drew White did that a few times which if you're up 15 or so I can undestand takin one of those but when you're down 15 it makes no sense there was a few possesions in the game or most of the game off and on where salem would try and triple team Drew when he drove well someone on the backside should be wide open but instead of him looking up or creating somethin for someone he passes it to his nearest teammate who is being guarded?..someone is open somewhere then at times he would start to drive only to be cutoff and pass it out and he's playing right into what the defense is trying to do to him? just a bad game mostly all around for the Rams...Laswell kept playing...and kept playin...and kept playin until the final horn sounded...with hustle it seemed like the end of theb ench came in and did well as Starr came in and did nice job inknocking down a 3...anyway another shaky game hopefully The Rams can right the ship get everything back together before sectional time because anything can happen then....anyway i'm out
