| Chuke had mentioned to me of doing a hat with two white front panels and the rest blue. Zephyr can do it, but once again we'd have to hit 72 to do it.

| I e-mailed a lot of people the artwork for a new 'Bird hat. I would vote in favor of it, but if we don't thats fine with me as well. If we do want to do it though i'd like to get the order in soon so we could have them in April.

| I like the new design and am on the same page as you Eino. Ordering it is going to put whomever pays for it in a big debt since nobody pays. 72 is a pretty large minimum order.
If Zephyr can get a New Era type hat that would be nice. Can't beat a 5950.

| I think the 59Fifty type style of Zephyr would be pretty cool, I just saw the sample of one last week. That one does cost us more than the "regular" style we got last time though. We would for surely be selling those at $20, possibly $25, but I could look more into that if we choose to do a hat. 72 is a lot, so unless we get enough requests I won't do it. So everyone please ask around to see if there is enough interest.

| Myself Shroom and Kyle say Yes on the hats for sure, since it was my idea of course! Hogg is ordering pants thru Fuller now which is fine they are of the highest quality in the land and will feature a grey pant with a one inch trim consisting of blue/gold/blue down the side, very sharp! Anyone who hasnt seen the rendering of the hats that eino sent out should feast your eyes on it and put in your feedback, who cares the price they are nice plus you always can use a good hat, especially a midway hat! Ok im done lobbying now! Peace

| I'm going to go out on a limb and say that we are very close to a majority decision on the hats. Are most in favor of the "59Fifty" type style? Also, do you like the artwork the way it was or like to see anything changed? Haven't gotten any word on what the price would be, but we would probably be selling them between $20 to $25. We'll have to make a final decision on it this week because its going to take 6 to 8 weeks to get these in if we want to do it.

| Sold. Again, keep artwork as is? So far, people I have talked to wanted it as is. I wouldn't mind the gold button and gold under the brim, but if people want the original artwork thats fine as well. I think I have the sizes everyone gave for our last order so I'll go with that.

| We have a little problem on the hats. The 32/5 is a new style Zephyr is doing. They have the larger crown, and a flat brim that is made of PLASTIC so you CAN NOT bend it. I tried to get them to do it with a standard brim that can bend but it sounds like they can't do it (one of the guys in a higher position thinks it would look bad). So the question is do we want to go with the flat brim that can't bend (which i'm assuming most don't want?), go with the standard brim that could somehow look weird, or just go with the standard issue style hat like we got last year that would of course have the two white front panels. Post your thoughts I need to get an answer back ASAP so we can get these hats in.

| Alright change of news. The visors can bend, so I'm assuming they aren't plastic. They will come flat (the visor), just like a box of new era 59Fiftys would; but they ARE able to bend and stay curved. Thus, I told him to go through with that.

| Well I should've read this post before I posted my other one Kyle. Anyway change of plans on the new hats, $15 across the board (fans and players). With these economical times and with our dedicated fans, its the way it should be. I did finally see the hats tonight, they look good. Definitely old school look, and definitely larger crown than our last one (which took me a little time to get accustomed to).

| Greetings Snurdbirds! I have been bugging George for a Snurdbird hat for a few years already and still haven't gotten one. After all, once a Snurdbird, always a Snurdbird! I still look back on my days with Midway with pride since I had the opportunity to be part of the greatest amatuer baseball organization ever. I couldn't help but notice that Kyle of KWAD/Sportscow wants a hat too. Dang, someone needs to tell him that he has to play for the 'birds to earn that 'badge' of honor! I'm a bit pissed that the May 3 game between you guys and the WDC Shockers was cancelled. I DROVE up to Midway to take photos for the Pioneer Journal, only to see an empty field. Gas ain't cheap buddies......damn Shockers didn't have the brains to give me a call to prevent a wasted effort. I thought for sure I'd be leaving with a brand new hat that day too. (bleep) Anyways, have a hat (Size 6 7/8 or 7) delivered or sent to: Mike Isola, Sports Desk Wadena Pioneer Journal 314 S Jefferson, PO Box 31 Wadena, MN 56482 Let me know where to send the check and I'll send off $20. By chance, you guys still have those cool yellow shirts with the Snurdbird logo on front still? I wish the 2008 Snurdbirds the best of luck this season and I'll stop by once in awhile to BS. Someone tell Al Lund I say hi and he still owes me for a case of beer that he ripped off from me back in '95! LOL Mike Isola (Snurdbird #17-1995, 1996)

| Mike, sorry to hear you didn't find out the game was cancelled. The weather people were a bit off. Are you coming to another game anytime soon?? It would be more of a last resort for us to mail out a hat, especially when you are so close. Also, I know we have some yellow shirts left (george has those) but I know that sizes are limited. But let me know and I'll see what we can do. Kyle, where did you go? Maybe we just need to get a Snurdbird apparel delivery man.

| Niner- Thanks for the reply and don't worry about the snide remark about last weekend, I was just giving you guys a hard time. I could try to make it out to Midway on the 18th since Bluffton is away and the Shockers are off. I was thinking the 24th in Staples but I'm going to be in Tennessee for a wedding from May 21-27.
Just save me a Size 7 hat and for the shirts, I need a Adult XXL and a Adult Small. Let me know the total cost and I'll make the effort to swing by to pick them up at the game on the 18th. Thanks
