| Hey guys Kirby and I have started an on-line petition to be used as our voice in regards to Wood River, Illinois being used as the location of the 2008 "B" State Championships.

The link above should be used to connect to the actual petition. I also talked to Oklahoma City on Friday and this is what was more or less said.
The locations that are determined are soley at the discretion of the State Director. Although we do have options here. The annual ASA Banquet and Executive Boards meeting is March 14 & 15, 2008 at the Decatur Holiday Inn. I was told from the gentleman that I spoke to that this would be a great opportunity for us to get this put on the table before its too late. I am going to attend this "E" Board meeting and I encourage as many of you as can to get ahold of me about going with me. My number is 217-565-3388. We need to get as many names on this petiton as possible before that date so I can get it prepared to give to Ken Hancock. Ken is the ASA Rep. from the Springfield area and will be in attendance of this meeting. So with all of this said heres our one and only shot to get this thing moved out of that Poop Hole of a Park.
