| Just a little poll here-
#1- What softball bats have you found are the most durable?
#2- If you take a lot of BP how long do you think they will last?

| Head out to Target with $50 and you'll get a bat that will last longer than you!
Seriously, these new bats are horrible for the game. I watched a senior softball tournament this weekend where they allow all bats. It's a joke for well played baseball. The only infield outs were ones hit right at the infielders. Anything to the left or right got through too quickly.

| The only bat that has impressed me with both quality (pop) and durability is the PST98. And I was even able to break that after 13 months and 15,000 hits. And know 15,000 hits is not an exageration. After about 5,000 hits to break it in it really started to launch the ball.
The EVO Ax is extremely hot bat, but the worst durability I have ever seen. I think we probably have 7 broken on our team this year.
Juggarnaut is hot, but I have broken one of those this year also. Still have two more going strong.
Also broke a worth mutant this year. Wow this has been an expensive year for tournament softball.

| Some bats I have known.......
Durable bats: Worth EST (never broken one) Worth PST Search and Destroy (still going) Easton Synergy + (the old black one-not the CNT-never broken one)
Bats which are a decent compromise between durability and pop: Original Mizuno Orange Crush (8 months on average) Louisville Slugger doublewall Response/Warrior/Gen1x design (some have lasted over a year, others less) Easton Stealth (broke one-on a really cold morning) Easton Flex (seen them break- but not often)
Bats you are guaranteed to break if you play and take BP: Demarini EVO AX (if you take any BP-not the bat for you) Mizuno Wrath Mizuno Wrath 2 (the ball goes far though) Mizuno Crush 2
How about other models? Anyone out there with an exotic bat we never see around here? Anyone have a workhorse they use in BP instead of their gamer 'cause it just won't die?
