| So, would you be opposed to old school aluminum being dusted off for our local leagues? ASA does have a clause for bats produced before 2000, and most of these bats, even the triplewall springsteel do not hit as hard as today's bats, they just have a nice sweetspot.........what about it HOP?
(The bat) 3. must, in the sole opinion and discretion of the umpire, have been manufactured prior to 2000 and if tested, would comply with the ASA bat performance standards then in effect.
-just wondering.....

| Bats????? I hate this area. Personally I feel if a bat meets ASA specs it's fine or below the old 1.2 BPF factor. But here in Victorville we have such small fields we try to limit the poke. I don't really know how they decide this but I hate checking bats on my extensive list to see if it's legal or not. But I have to do what my boss says.

| So, Mounties? Can we break out the 8 year old aluminum? You know I like to follow the rules.
