altho if you want to get technical, someone i was speaking to at club joques the other nite asked me and a few of the guys if we thought itd b a good idea to raise some money for the league.... have a sleep over at joques at that point we looked at him and said NAAAA i enjoy drinking and hangin out but everyone also enjoys girls after drinking and hangin out haha
they will remain nameless until he comes forward on his own for this unbelieveable idea.

with that being said why can't we continue on Saturday? 6 of 8 teams there so get done as much as we can and then let On the roch's just play back to back and catch up on Sunday. Already accomadating them by not doing it all on saturday. Let the other teams get more games in rather than making them have to play a game smack dab in the middle of the day then go home.

Whoa, whoa, whoa!! How come I'm getting blamed for fucking up this thing? I was under the impression it was supposed to be a one day tournament on a Sunday, then I was told last minute that they were playing Saturday and Sunday so I said I would have to withdraw. Then I was told it was okay if we just played Sunday. So playing on Saturday and Sunday has absolutely nothing to do with us at all, that is how it was set up.
If we were told from the rip that it would be a Saturday only or a Sunday only tourney it would have been okay with us, but we can't do both due to everyone's schedule.
My only question is why aren't we using a couple of fields to get it done in one day?

Here is my take on the tournament so far. Since I will not be there tomorrow I expect someone to provide some updates.
I took my cheap shot at Gopher but he knew it was coming. I was playing 1st and he was umpiring. He came over and introduced himself. Then proceeded to blow a call that even Fiskey knew he was out on. Of course he knew it was not going to go unmentioned in here. I bet he wised he didn’t introduce himself.
Who called Gopher from the hill immediately after the blown call? Classic moment.
Where was Mertog when my wife let me out? And for that matter Ryman, Mac, and lb4lb? Was I the only frequent poster that was allowed out before the season officially started?
I quit smoking 6 weeks ago and I put on about 10 pounds since. My wife laughed at me trying to get my softball pants buttoned this morning.
I got to the field and soon realized everyone else put on 10 pounds too.
I hadn't seen old friend Knight for a couple of years and I shook hands with him when I saw him. He actually has muscles in his fingers. I could feel him flexing the little fuckers. You know he is reading this while he does little mini bench presses with his fingers yelling “yeah mutha fucka feel the burn”.
Dutilly the Cheater was up to something mischievous as usual. That is a man that can go topless and make me feel better about my physique.
I have no opinion of the famous Rob Raymond mustache. As long as he still can make a mean mudslide.
Machado number 1 struck out looking. Not to be outdone Machado number 2 struck out swinging in his next at bat.
Machado number 2 email me about that bat. I forgot to talk to you after the game.
Fiskey may be a drunken a website poster and get thrown out of bars on a weekly basis, but the man can still hit the ball. And so can Ernie. I didn’t even see him play but I know he hit at least 2 screamers.
It was great to see everyone. I wish I could have stayed and bullshitted at the bar but I am working now so I could not drink today.

I think I speak for everyone here at Patriot Oil when I said we had a bad showing as a whole. Defensively we were right on point all around. Unfortunately we couldn't put a fielder up in the parking lot. PNA and Punishement looked very impressive, Del Padre had a young, fast squad, and Mertog has a great team put together. If I can say anything about your team, Mert, when they're on they're on. But I ump'd one of your games and it was a hitting drought. So if you guys can keep it consistent in the season, you're a top team.
Besides the no arc thing which blew, I had a lot of fun and wanna wish all the teams luck in the season. It was also nice to put some faces to the forum names. Fiskey, Hodde, Dutilly (didn't introduce myself Dutilly. I was the guy that was the umpire at first during your first game sunday), nice meetin you guys.
Ryno, I've probably gotten so into softball due to the fact that women don't let me touch them. So god only knows what'll happen when one does. I can only hope she'll be the type that'll tag along to games. Anyone know any softball groupies?

lb4lb wasnt there because Team Ian wasnt in the tournament. And Ryno, the one thing we fight every year is to try not to look like Tommy Lasorda in our uniform. Start doing pushaways. As in push away from the table.I noticed Rob Ray went for the Lasorda look last year but has trimmed down considerably this year. I have never met RyMan but am I sure the words soft and pillowy would describe his physique..and from these posts I would guess that if YOU gain 10 lbs RyMan is going straight to Friendlys for a Fribble or two to make certain HE gains 10 lbs as well. So if you cant drop 10 for yourself then please , do it for RyMan
