| Let me be the first( and hopefully not the last)to say that the 2 umpires that we had today were pleasant 2 have around today and also were consistant on there calls. The worked together with each other which was something that i didnt see last year at all. Not a once did I, and I speak for my team on this, feel that the umpires were there for just the money. They very courtious of the both teams and it was a please to have today. So far so good Artie. Hope it continues

| i agree....i had bruce and eric...they did a great job. now in two blow outs there aren't too many calls. BUT one of my pitchers asked about a pitch and eric said "it hit the plate sir" i couldn't believe it. also it is very important that managers get their umpires names so that if we do have a problem it can be fixed. plus, since they are new to us and we are new to them it will make things a lot better long term.
also, when the games ended they waited patiently for us to pick up the bases, go thru the line, and for me to get to my bag to get their money. love that.

| i agree with you guys totally, very curtious and professional. These guys made good calls, they worked together, did not rush the game along. We had a few questionable calls with homeruns that these guys handle a fair and correct way. They even had a appeal. Just a good core of umpires that made solid calls and were confident in their calls. Thank You

| CM at EATON Our guys were very good. They got together on a couple of calls and were very professional.
They did (when going over ground rules) think that we started with a "one and one" count and the only changes they were told about were the progressive home runs and the arc.
I didn't get their names though...sorry. One was a big guy (almost as fat as Stevens) and the other was an older gentleman (almost as old as lawnman).
I do have one question. Are we supposed to call them "RED" now or can we still call them "BLUE"?????
Overall...nice job!

| they use the word sir but red will do KD.My guys were great I did have the Chief umpire . We even had a guy who missed a bag running the bases and was called out . The guy clearly missed the bag argued with the ump . The ump spoke to him not making things worst and the game went on . Thats gonna be the big difference these guys will control the game .

| Umps were absolutely spectacular...I for one am very happy with them.
1. They actually showed up!!! 2. They Showed up on time!!! 3. They stayed for both games!!!! 4. They were actually pleasant and great to have around.
I had Lassard (Spelling) who played for VFW last year....great guy and a great umpire!
We definately did the right thing kicking those ASA pricks to the curb. Hate to say it but we should have listened to Artie long ago...he was right!

| We had the same 2 umps before your game Mertog and much to my shock they came in 15 minutes before game time, not 5 minutes after like last year. Not much action to call in our games but they did a nice job. Lessard lost a ton of weight. I could actually see around him when he was in front of me.

| Didn't even notice the new umpires in our game. Which means they did a great job. They let the teams decide the outcome of the game. They looked professional and held themselves in a way that said they were in charge without being a cocky bastard to "establish their authority" the way some ASA umped I've come across do. There were a lot of calls that could've gone one way or the other as far as homeruns/ground rule doubles as anyone who's played at hunters know happens often. The umps made quick decisive calls and no one argued because the umps just seemed confident in their job. So far so good with the new umps. And yes its very akward to start calling them "red" now. Tough habit to break.
