| Great job to the administration regarding the draft this year. Every year always seems to bring some kind of controversy but only now did I see it first hand. I agree that players should not dictate who with and what team they will play for, but I also feel that some team reps need to be less aggressive at trying to recruit players in this league. After all their salaries are not going to change based on the talent they did or did not acquire for their team. In saying this it was great to hear the majority of the players talk about playing with their buddies rather than trying to build or join the Super Team.

| The only Super team is Remax, they have won 5 times in the last 7 years. Who did they get in the draft?

| you lost me after your first statement. your damn right I recruited, most of us have busy lives, family work etc. if a guy wants to play with his buddies who are you to rob him of that. I thank all the teams that passed on Vos, but most importantly he thanks you to, why should a guy have butterflies sittin at the draft hoping he can get on a team to play with his bestfriends, We have passed on guys when asked. DB if you ever get the opportunity to do the same I suggest you do as well.

| Is it an accurate statement that the Arms rep caused all the problems at the draft? Someone enlighten me.

| All I can say is Vos is lucky...We were taking him all the way...If it wasn't for Palmer giving us the $0.29 bic pen, he was all ours..I think we got the better end of the deal! LOL

| "NO", at the very least the Arms set in motion a bunch of things that didn't necessarily have to happen. Voting on a rule change first, then selecting a player (knowing he would decline) that would put in effect the rule that had just been instated. You could argue that this forced the hands of many other teams and ended up effecting the rest of the draft.

| Personally,
In order to avoid mishaps and allegations in the future, the draft should be run much like any real draft in pro sports.
I heard grumblings at the draft that there may be a motion to change the rules so that A draft picks cannot decline the teams they are selected by. You would go to who picks you - that way the entire draft process works. The worst team picks the best player on their board. No qualms or bitterness.
Everyone would know what to expect going in, and secondly this would probably drastically reduce the amount of A draft picks, as guys would probably not want to take that chance - if they do, then they go to the team that selects them.

| Not sure if we attended the same draft. Can't blame the ARMS because of the way they got screwed with their 1st picks the last 2 years. They should have gotten the first 2 this year. Poncho asked the difference between the USPL and the YR league. You hand pick your team in the YR and yes there A teams would kick our butts. We may win 2 of 5 games if lucky. If players determine who they play for, the USPL will be more like the YR. There should be a way for friend to play together without some teams using this as an excuse to build a powerhouse. Need to stop the BS and as someone mentioned on last years forum, a good place to start is by stoping teams from registering sponsors and players just to avoid drafting someone. They are taking up a spot from someone who wants in the league. If they didn't play a single game last year why are you accepting the registration. Ignoring stuff like this makes things worse.
