here is one for you skip- I will arrive at the game uncharacteristically sober. This will be more than offset when Dean shows up after a Saturday of cookouts and 14 straight hours of drinking. Somehow the good guy (me) will go 0 for the day while Dean spends the afternoon unloading bombs to right center that he loses sight of after they leave the infield. I spend so much time in the bathroom that Kate has to do the book- gets frustrated- and leaves your ass at the field. After the games you need a drink and you hop in the jeep with me and dean and we go to the Pub to make up for all those nasty posts! I don't know who will win the games.

well smitty is right this is a big weekend for some of the top teams in the league. ill start with the rochs vs pna game... ive seen both teams play and honestly i was drunk both times also was drunk when i made my picks so i dont even remember who i picked but this is how i see this game goin.
game 1 pna comes out and scores a bunch quick, namely a HR by broz ( cuz he never hits any haha ) i think this will b a close game i think that pna's defense will take over in this one and even tho mert and his boys can score runs like they can drink beers i just dont c enuf runs pna takes game 1 by 5 or 6. game 2 rochs comes out guns a blazing and start layin the smacketh down on there roody poo candy asses, but like the crafty vets the pna is, todd beav and the guys come back to steal this game possibly in extra innings. key players to watch... pna broz, mansours, and todd in the kitchen. rochs alays dangerous carlo, donny plante and walt who have been killin the ball.

crowe vs patriot.... i believe i took the splitsville on this series ( yes the pussy pick ) haha i just think that chip has put together a great team, and i like the rowe guys but if they decide to get bombed sat nite patriot takes both. my guess is these will tight games ill go with patriot ropping the first one by 2 or 3 runs... and patriot comes back to take the second game by 5 or 6 especially if kirby is hittin missiles over the trees. key players to watch... crowe both keenans, cote and hov will have a big game. patriot...kirby, chip taking 2 everytime and shout out to ryman...get some playin time son haha great guys right there

harris vs bothelo... well these games should b good to watch and watch is what ill b doin, smitty and the guys over there have put together a great team of oawmf's haha we all know now that these guys werent a fluke by winning last year gotta give it to them they took it to the "D" team of the league so i expect nothin less this week just know its gonna b hot and hope dean has cookouts al day sat and stevens i dont believe u will b sober thats like sayin ill b sober when i show up....outlook is bleak haha id have to say if my guys come out and play how there supposed to both games will b really close, we match up well im goin on the safe side with a split but if smitty starts hittin homers we r in alot of trouble. key players...bothelo... dean, rc feilder, big country and darren. smitty ur gettin an honorale mention cuz if i dont u will kill us haha. harris... lesnak, brett, kettle and lags who are on fire along with benny i won millions in vegas now im playin cov sunday morning haha

fire fighters vs stallions.... game of the week fire fighters are a great bunch of guys who just enjoy gettin out there and giving it there all. stallions are my boys now tho im catchin kid comes up says ive never hit a HR he hits one comes up his next at bat im talkin to him so much he watches a strike go by cuz i ws chit chatting haha next pitch HR becuase of that im goin with the stallions to take both games... in 2 fun filled games with great guys who r there for the right reasons. key players... now idont know many names but stalions... 1st batter 4th batter and there pitcher. fire fighter lc fileder, ant n, left fielder.

good luck to everyone this weekend... see u at the bars

PNA vs. On the Roch's:

I would just call this a PNA sweep, but my inside source in the PNA tells me they left their game against Moulton with some injured players. 2 or 3 if my count is correct, and I know 3 players does not a winning team make, but losing key players or having key players play below their talent level for one reason or another can throw off the rhythm of a team.
The PNA playing at 75%-80% can still beat most of the leagues handily, they've drawn the dirty diaper squad this weekend. From what I saw of them in the one pitch tourney, they got some aggressive hitters. Just aggressive enough to steal a game from the PNA. Even though Mertog's mind is finally going (did anyone notice the post on this thread seems like it was meant for my other thread about ASA umps?), the series goes as a split in 2 close and high-scoring games. Homerun limits reached by both teams in both games.

Harris vs. Bothelo's:

All I can go buy with Ian's squad is their numbers. I have yet to see them play. Also, Mac and the Harris boys have a good, but seemingly inconsistent team. When they're on they can compete with anyone, but once the bats get quiet they have a tendency to lose their heads and can't right themselves in time to win. Mac's not playin which takes a great leadoff hitter out of the picture for Harris, so for them lets hope someone else can step up and get them started off on the right foot to some small ball. If they can chip away consistently they'll take a game, but I think Bothelo's is good enough to frustrate them into beating themselves. My call is that Ian and lb4lb take 2. Mac, since you're not playin, help keep your team's head in the game. Don't let Neil get frustrated or you guys don't stand a chance.

CCFD vs. Wild Stallion's:

First things first, my apologies to the Stallions that I can't recall how to spell their name Bill and Ted style. I've seen the CCFD play and they only lost that one because the other team outhit them. They have 3 or so top notch players and are extremely strong defensively down left center. Their shortstop is a brick wall, and their LC could play his position and left field at the same time with a cannon for an arm. They thin out a bit after that, but smart baserunning and a low amount of fly outs can move some people around and get some runs on the board.
The W.S. are obviously better than when the last time I played them, puttin up some homeruns and winning some games. But, if the CCFD is still winless like I recall they are, they're taking their first game sunday. If I can give them a word of advice, shorten your lineup so your better hitters get to hit more. You have an army worth of players, they don't all need to be in the lineup.

Patriol Oil vs. Crowe Bar:

I'm biased. But I also don't think I'm mistaken on the fact that Patriot Oil is rolling. Eric Galloway is on a tear, we have the best all around shortstop in the league in John Fuentes, Kirby's a monster and he's supposed to be there, Ryan Hodges is hittin the snot out of the ball, and I look good in my uniform. Also something that's overlooked with our team is our defense. Put the ball in the air or put it on the ground, its gonna be an out. Put it on a line and you're in good shape, we're gonna do the same thing though. Come monday, Patriot Oil is still without a loss and I will break out of my slump with 2, count em, 2 hits this sunday!

I am with you Dutilly. GT, Eddie Mac, and with some admitted bias, my brother Steve, are the best I have seen in this league in about 10 years.

That's fairm Dutilly and Ryno. But also give me the benefit of the doubt that neither of you have seen our shortstop play yet. I've seem Eddie Mac play, and the guy is a fielding machine, and has a great bat. I also remember your brother playin back in my PNA fan days, Ryno. He was one of the better players I'd seen at any position of all the games of yours that I went to. I haven't seen your guy play, Dutilly, but I'll take your word. John hits for power, average, fields effortlessly, runs like the wind, and had a cannon for an arm. Is there anyone the forums from CJ/Raymond Insurance that can atest to his ability because I heard he put on a show during that series. Ryno and Dutilly will see soon enough.

Why are you home? Dont you need to go to a game so the other team can forfeit. Cant wait to bring the family to see that again..again..and again

GT is nasty.... ive seen all the guys named above in this and id say the ranking would go stevie clark then GT eddie mac then patriot shortstop

now i only had a chance to see patriots twice against the harris. and he was a good defender had a pretty good bat alot of pull tho

eddie mac can lace the ball to any feild with pop or placement, and u can put him anywhere on the field and he will put together a highlight reel at that position.

GT is defensively unbeliveable and he crushes the ball, if he would just hit single and doubles everytime instead of worrying about homeruns he could be the best player in the league.

stevie was the smoothest player ive ever seen play softball he just glided to the ball and the release was made b4 it even seemed as if he had it, he hit well dont remember exactly where to but i remember he could move like the wind.

ps. smitty is still a god, but i hope the whole bothelos team gets bombed saturday nite and if there not im gonna have to throw a cookout just to make sure they do haha

Ryman I have hearfd good things about your guy but I have not seen him so I can't rank him.

Mac. All Clarkes hit opposite field. Not just me. In our backyard pickup games pulling the ball hit the house and that was trouble with dad so we learned to hit to right.

Come on tommy "MAC" gunz no love for the crowe, when you were drunk you took a stroll down splitsville, now your sober and you give patriot both???? Myself and everyone else like all of your intoxicated posts better. Come by Hunters have a beer on me and watch the crowe break through for two nasty beat downs. As for Ryman or Ry whoever the bat expert is, you need to pull the bat and your picks out of your ass to fix your hitting slump. Come monday patriot can join the rest of the pack with 2 in the "L" column. While you need to watch brothers Keenan you should worry about Cote and finally Jackson is blasting nasty bombs that will make your head spin. Ricky Keenan hit like 58 homeruns last week... that cleared the trees at hunters and he isn't even a bat expert.
