| Rob, You think that with all the time you put into to writing on this message board, mabey, all the Co-ed teams stats would be up. Of course you look on the stats and your team has everything. This league costs so much for what? What a Joke! Go ahead and tell me they will be up in a couple of days. Heard that in week 1 and week 2 and week 3 and week 4 etc. etc. etc.!

| Very true TANK! I know a lot of people are getting sick of this league. One thing i've noticed. No matter how much you complain, nothing happens. This is the last year in this league for my team!

| Wow every yr its the same thing..
Everyone is worried about their individual stats.. lol.. keep them yourself.
The team records are correct and posted the very same night you play. And the stats arent all up for his team if you look correctly.
No one gets paid to do this.. your money goes to umpires.. field prep lights.. and the scorekeepers, until last week didnt werent doing coed.
So heres what you do. Tank Or Justin.. you try and run the coed part of the league. Im sure youd do a grt job.
By the way just remember.. the other leagues in southern illinois.. dont have a website or post any kind of stats and are more expensive for less games!

| Now now 411...why are you so quick to disregard valid points of people who seem to have a legitimate complaint? I consider Rob a friend, and this is in no way a slam against him, heck, I would let him date my best friend's sister...
but the fact is that our final schedule is not even up. The men's league schedule has been up since the first week of May...(Both men's leagues). I am not so much concerned with batting statistics, (they are already wrong anyway), but I think what the other guys were talking about was that we pay the same fees that the other leagues play, and they get to see their stats up every week. I love that this league has been doing that...it is just cool to see it up there. There comes a point in time when if something has been done for a few years, it is no longer an added bonus...it is expected, and I think their point is that why should the other leagues be up and not ours?
Scorekeepers get paid to do this. WE pay the scorekeepers to do this. Now I know Rob has been having to do it by himself now for the last couple weeks, so I would suggest cutting him some slack...But to totally disregard another's opinion and tell them to go do it themselves is just as bad as the kid who takes his ball and goes home.
I love this league and have always offered to help in any way I can...I am not going to another league because I think this one is run well...it is just running a little bit behind this year.

| If you look closely... the mens a and b are up but church isnt..
As for the stats.. without scorekeepers for the first 2 weeks except Rob .. the stats (and ive seen them) are screwed up.
And like i said b4 individual stats are a bonus.. not required.. got a feeling that they may be done away with, cause of all the griping.
And sam.. you cant say the stats are wrong when you also say they are not all entered..and remember a fc is not a hit!

The stats and scores are updated.. to the best of my scorebook info.. i have just a few games left to decipher!
justin as far as your team not being in it next yr.. hmm what team would that be? I think i know but o well.. have fun in cdale or murphy.. where none of this info is kept or reported..
This is the best run league in southern illinois.. i know i play in the other 2. Dan does an amazing job.. and his scorekeepers.. John and his scorekeepers do an amzing job.. And as for me.. most are very happy.. so hmm.. dnt think im gona please all of you.
And one more thing.. if you havnt noticed Tank.. i havnt posted anything lately... Between work family and now school.. im swamped.. but ill try harder to keep you updated on your stats!
Or you could just ask pete.. he has all your stats!

| Wow wow wow wow!!!!!!! A bunch of grown men arguing fighting and complaing about their "COED" stats not being up on the website. GIVE ME A BREAK...... What do you wana show up the next week and brag to the women on your team that your hitting .500 against the league when half the league is composed of women!! Great Athletes, and Spoortsmen you Are, and cowards above that hiding behind screen in a blog room. And no I dont play coed and no i have no affiliation with coed in marion leagues. Want stats,updates, and braggen rights??? GROW UP and go to the bigs and play, travel and enter tourneys with SIGNIFICANCE, and then get on your precious internet blogs, and make your posts about how great you are!!!! WAIT, you probaly cant compete at that level, but wana walk and talk and act like you do, but guesss what, you know you cant. Make and EFFORT to progress outa the coed leagues and into the big boy realm, if not shut up, keep your own stats, and bring them every week when you play to show the gals how much betr you are as a boy than them as a girl!!!! Hope the point is taken and made here, and if you have a problem with the person who runs the coed league, then be a man, even tho you play in a league composed half of women and ask him in person to update the web!!! the end!

| i mean are you guys being serious right now? lol...thats what i have to do at this point...you are really complaining that your co-ed softball stats arent correct/updated...i play on ROB ROB ROB's co-ed softball team and no our stats are not updated first or always correct...i mean i am sure u all would be able to find just great score keepers that are willing to give up their friday nights after a long week to keep the book perfectly in a co-ed softball game. i am also sure that you all would do a great job running the league in your first year along with all the other stuff that life throws at you. maybe you should go ahead and log on the other area sites that give u standings and stats for the games...they do a fine job keeping score and running the league and i am sure they wont be able to sleep tonight knowing that you are really batting .600 instead of the .580 that is posted...and have nothing else better to do than complain on a message board about it!

| Lol here we go again.. it was the same when Dan took over the league.. everyone said he did his own stats... then poof Dan didnt do them and he still was at the top.
I do not keep my own tams stats. And i dnt enter them either. So my team stats mite be the only true ones who knows..
as for the rest of this point.. understand that there are no sacrifices and that a fielders choice is not a hit, so if your team stats are different then the score keepers those might be 2 reasons why.

| In robs defense, putting up stats if someone else if your getting someone elses book is very confusing especially cause some people really dont know how to keep score. im not making excuses for the guy but i was a score keep last year and sometimes i had to put stats in on someone elses book and it was nearly impossible i guess on a lot of what was going on in the games. A lot of teams have like a wife or fan do there teams score keeping and thats great fine and dandy but that doesnt mean its accurate. If rob is keeping track of his teams stats maybe the coach or assistant coach or a player who knows how to keep score should do it for their team, then that person or persons should give it rob so he can enter them, cause without a score keep it really is hard to point a finger.-On the other side of the fence your gripe is legit, if your playing in a league which offers this as a perk for the money spent it should be updated properly the schedule and the wins and losses should be updated the day after or night of the games. alsolets no rip on the women who play cause honestly there was a girl who played on va blue last year and seriously she was the best athlete on the field at all times.
ill say it as my final thought not to contredict my earlier statment. personal stats dont matter. When you go to work the next day ur boss isnt waiting for you with signing bonus for going 5 for 5 the previous night, your family doesnt boast about ur .671 BA in reality no one cares i've said it once and ill say it again. getting a hit in slow pitch softball very well could be the easiest thing to do in the world of sports. I find shuffle board more frustrating.

| People need to stop finding things to complain about. We have a good league we play when the fields are playable thanks to our park district workers, we have good umpires, good league directors, and good competition. I paid money to play softball not be able to look at my stats, if the stats arent up to date then get over it, who cares. If you need to see that you are batting .700 in slow pitch softball to make yourself feel better then you have some serious self esteem issues. If you have had it in the Marion league then fine, go play in C-dale that way we won't have to read your complaints next year. This was directed to the first couple of posts, not you Sam.

HOLY SH*T, for the guys who wear eye black at day or night the ones who slide into home, who throw the ball around the diamond after an out, realize this theres a reason its not baseball theres a reason why guys ranging from 18 to 50 and above in age still play the damn game. So quit pretending theres scouts watching on the bleachers, like people besides yourself are tracking stats gong O M G hes batting .751 i hope his rookie card in my next pack of TOPPS cards. I get that it is pretty much prolly the closest thing some of you have to living out your baseball dreams, but in realitly get a life, do something take the efforts and passion u have for this and do something useful with it cause honestly when u get on here and complain the only person it reflects negatively on is yourself.

Either that or he died a long time ago from drinking binges, I would assume agreeing to be Doink the clown is one of those decisions you immeadtely regret.
