Guess who's bored? I have chosen the first ever All-Forum Team. A team consisting of nothing but the most active forum favorites. Im curious to see what everyone thinks as far as how this team would actually fair if they did play. With no further ado, here's the lineup.
*batting a full 13, and chose 3 extras cause I don't know where they play.
1. Mac LF (Speed, hit for average, drinks for days) 2. Smitty LC (Great all-around play and serious leadership skills. Anchors the outfield) 3. Ryno 1B (Crafty vet still hits the shit out of the ball.....when his wife lets him play) 4. Rick P (Ok, I think the Rick that's been posting is Ricky Keenan. If it is, he's cleanin up anyone on base and he's our pitcher) 5. EW33 RC (Some security behind the number 4 hitter. Doesn't hurt that he's one of the better all-around hitters in the league) 6. ANT SS (He'll throw in posts every now and then, but he definitely solidifies the infield and adds yet another sick bat) 7. Hinske RC (The dudes plays with some serious energy. Lets just hope there's people on base when he launches one) 8. Uncle Mertog EH (Yeah I know he doesn't play much if at all, but how could we have an all-forum team without he who first made the forum fun?!) 9. ARTIEKARATE DH (He will also double as team coach/shit stirrer. He also brings sheer intimidation to the team) 10. Littleguy 2B (He hasn't posted in a while, but he used to be pretty active on here. Speeds up the bottom of the order on a basically slow lineup) 11. RyMan 3B (I honestly couldn't think of a thirdbaseman that posts on here, so im snagging the 11 spot. I also keep a mean scorebook!) 12. OAWMF C (The king of the picture post strengthens the bottom of the order and the backstop) 13. Ry OTM (A good all around player helps make agreat transition from bottom to top)
Honorable mentions/bench/I have no idea who they are or where they play:
Gopher, lb4lb, mikeyd, and hodde.
So there it is, the first ever All-Forum-Team! I think its a pretty good squad. Thoughts?

Thanks for the shout out out there ryman But seeing i am a team player( just ask hodde) i will give my spot to 1 of 2 people that i think is imperative to your Fantasy team
1 is Rob Raymond...because of his abillity to still pitch impresivly after being in this league as long as he has and also able to find fresh pond water where ever he goes.. and the other is.. Bob Dutilly You can't go to a tournament with out the greatest cheater to ever play the game and besided you are going to need him to keep Artie in line when he starts to cause trouble for the other team....

Mert..I think the players on the list have to have a balance between softball skills, posting ability and posting frequency....since RYMAN has himself playing 3rd and batting fourth, guess which counts the most

My original lineup had Chris Knight hitting 1st through 5th. Then I realized he hadn't posted in a long f-ing time. For the most part you can find a post from every player in my team in just about every thread on the forum. Lemme was my first choice for third and I was gonna bench myself. Then I got to thinkin he hasn't posted in forever! If this was the best team I could put together from anyone who's ever made a post, itd be a different squad. I picked who I feel is the best of the best as far as SMACK goes. I was pleasantly surprised to see what a good squad it would be. I think its great that the website is highly traffic'd by some of the cream of the crop in our league AND myself. So I got you deluted right here, Mertog. Perhaps their omition from the team will coax Riley, Knight, and Lemme to get on here and post some more. I stand by my team.
Lb4lb got an honorable mention cause I think he's dumb. Just kidding, just never seen him play.

hahah thanks for the props ryman, im out for another 6 - 8 weeks. my knee is all screwed up atleast its not the acl like they first thought so as long as i make one more game this year im in for the playoffs which will b good. cant wait to actually be able to run the bases again boy do i miss that.... however even with this bum knee im still faster than a certain pitcher i know who never posts ( rob raymond ) hahaha
and just so everyone knows ernie can lace the ball with control he avoids the middle as long as u know him, now lesniak thats another story i have a softball ( oh i mean welt) on my good leg stitches and all haha cuz ernie and lesniak wanted to get some bp in i figure theyll avoid shootin box im injured no big deal.... well last round thru bp i got plunked thanks again ....Yup... it was real sweet now i really need mertog to get me a golf cart but not to drive me in and out of the outfield to drive me from the dugout to the base coachin box haha

add july 6 to the list of things i can't wait for.....i might skip my game against club jogues so i can watch ryman vs. mertog (sorry gopher, no video). better yet, move the game to 1200 club jogues so i can watch along with everyone else. and after you move the game, chip you have to play ryman at third and mert, you have to bat lead off so you get the most at bats possible to hit lasers down the line. hahahahaha
