| yeah, crowe really " brought it" to shamrock today apparently. Great split. They had a winning percentage of .167 going in, so certainly no cupcake there. If you guys are gonna " bring it" like that in the 2nd half, we should probably just end the season now and send yas the trophy.

| I wanna give a quick nod to all of the forum members from the teams lower in the standings. All this BS going back and forth over who's played who, and the outcomes of those games in regards to the winning percentage of opponents. I think people are being very disrespectful to teams in this league by saying teams that have played them have " played no one" . Its been going on for too long and I've noticed we haven't heard anything from players on those teams that are being brushed off and I commend them for that.
Am I coming to the defense of my team? Of course. With the exception of 2 people that have posted that I know who they are, and this snowman who just recently got involved who I don't know, mouths are not running on Patriot Oil. We're happy we're winning, that's all.
Im also trying to come to the defense of the teams we've played that are constantly being branded as pushovers. Yes we've played a lot of the teams that are low in the standings, but I don't think any of those teams beat themselves. I can't recall a single game where we picked up a win because the other team was commiting tons of errors (the only team that had error problems was Harris, and they're a great team. No offense, Mac) and popping up constantly. We made the routine plays, we made some of the great plays, we didn't let poor showings get us down to the point that we couldn't turn it around, and above all we've been hitting well and when it counts.
I think this bitch-fest needs to end. I think the Crowe boys can admit we have a good squad and I admit on the behalf of my team that Crowe has a good squad. I think we're very evenly matched.
Hinkse, as the most active forum member of Crowe Bar, I say we put this thing to rest. You and I both know that the couple of hot heads on our teams that have been posting don't represent our teams as a whole. So I call for a truce. What ya think?

| i dont care who plays who or what the standings are.... u play to win the game no one goes out there tryin to lose, sometimes u win sometimes you lose... yes we want to win but lets understand this its softball and last i checked no one is getting paid = u try to win but everyone goes to work and has a real job not softball. anyone can beat anyone... any given sunday. when we played patriot yes they beat us but had we not made 40 errors in the first few innings it coulda been a split but that wasnt our day, life goes on and playoffs are when it matters so u play all season just to restart the season in a best of 3 series everyone will have all there guys none of this o this guy was missing, that guy was away everyone is there and then u see how u fair then. flat out i dont care what anyone says contender pretender you still gotta go out there and play. 1 seed or 8 seed every team is good enuf to win keep up the smack it kills me haha

| one more thing VERN AND SNOWMAN BRING THE NOISE. lot of hurt feelings on this thing, if you talk smack you gotta be able to take it in stride. You guys are a good squad but dont get ahead of yourselves speaking from experience we had a year like you guys last year and look now we cant do nothing right. But if we do make the play offs i want to know the feilders before i swing i know i can hit ryman with a foul ball but you two bafoons gotta atleast play to get that fired up.

| Hinske its official I have a mancrush on you about as big as Ryman has for Kirby. First of all I'm not a hot head, you will rarely ever hear me talk on the field. I'm just trying to get my pathetic underachieving team on track. It's true we are one of those bottom teams now that have done nothing this year. We can't even string together three innings of good ball. But I know this team can play with the BEST when we collectively play thats why I make those posts. Ryman you have me confused with MikeyD, completely different person. My last post to you a few weeks ago was out of character, I was piss drunk and fired up from your bold predictions. Granted you guys have a GREAT team, but we needed motivation. My post was towards Vern about the five run deal. Ask Artie and his boys, give us one more game and something has got to give, not saying a win but the run difference would be smaller, some of the bounces would have gone our way. Ryman as far as I'm concerned this is over, it really isn't my style anyways
