| Remember Fri.27 battle of the Creeks,if you haven't been to one,I suggest you go,have a few beers and cheer your league on.These games are very competitive,if I remember right no one has won both games.As of now I have lined up sound for music and announcing. If you haven't got your players names make sure you do.A league to dewey by mon. nite B to Jer. from foresters by tue.

| chong, thanks for bringing up bottles,cause you just volunteered for clean up duty after the game, cause I let the township know I didn't have much control what M.C. brought with them.I assured them we'd clean up.So the league thanks you for your help,anyone else would like to help just let me know.

| So Hcreek preaches its a closed pitching league....I only see Menale listed on the "A" roster as a pitcher, yet 3 guys from Hilltop and Folmars are on there, so Hcreek is going to let them sling (AJ/Benny.......you cant be serious)yet they claim to be a closed pitching league. You need to get a hold of these things groove you guys in hcreek change your minds more than a 2 year old needs a diaper change. You guys just make up rules and alter them as you see fit, basically you are running a circus your league is turning into a laughing stock.

| the league has nothing to do with the selection of pitchers for the all star games. pitchers are chosen by the manager. if you have a problem with the pitchers chosen tlked to benson. i'm sure he will tell why they were selected and what the deal is with the style of pitching in the all star game.

| Hey answers why don't I just go to every game and call all the illegal pitches? I take it you weren't at last years all-star game? 4closed 4open Dewey took a closed pitcher from a team who hadn't won all year,I know he was an all-star.Those last 5 innings were some exciting ball.We could Ken pitch all 8 for M.C.considering there A league is all sling.Have you ever pitched?Tell you what you can throw the homerun derby just make sure you keep it closed and don't even give the dudly thunders were using a second thought. Bring an extra set of boxers just in case.

| Actully, you dont have to talk to Benson...talk to me, I picked the pitchers.
We have two options, play the game closed and make Millcreek pitchers throw legal. Or play the game open and let the HC pitchers throw sling.
Clearly you cant think the Millcreek pitchers selected can throw legal, so as a favor to Millcreek...we will open the game up so they can throw the style they are familar with.
Or maybe, as some wanted last year, you want one team to throw legal and the other to sling.
The Harborcreek League continues to be the best league, hands down. Ask your teammates. The only laughing stock is you...as usual.

| well said groovey. also take into consideration of who has thrown in the league this year. all who were selected. it don't matter as groovey said. its an all star game. who cares. don't count towards your winning percentage for the year. relax.

| No, thats not a shot at them. I dont want to speak for Jeff but John but they probably dont want to conform to 10 man pitching rules for this game.
I think its logical to let them throw the way they throw over at Asbury and just let the Harborcreek guys open it up as well for a night. If you dont agree....ok....thats cool but we had to go one way or the other here.
I hope everyone can remember this game is just for a good time and go out and enjoy it on Friday. Also, in case you didnt know..Groove has done a great deal to make sure Harborcreek can be great hosts. Things like use of the press box, getting the township to allow us to stay later, etc. Thanks Groove

| What a cry baby website. Is this actual grown men talking? My words to you, "SHUT UP AND HIT", or put a SKIRT on! I have played and pitched against Bonnells for years, probably have beaten them more that we lost to them, but the desire and challenge is always there. The games against Bonnells is the games that I lived for. The only game that should get you up for, is the game where the opposing team is better. So get out of mommy making you dinner and make your own, try it, it feels better.

| The "east" websites are just like the "west" websites, players hate you, if you are good, unless they play on the same team. The east websites had their websites ruined, when they all went to "B" modified this year and realized that they made a mistake, it is a joke. When you go to tournaments, you need to see faster pitching in order to hit in competitive tournaments. The east may not see another state champion for a long time, whether it is B, A or open. So who really ruins the game, it is the weaker teams and the cheating coaches, that are trying to get an edge. And as far as cleaning out my basement, I dont keep awards and trophies, they are in the past. I play for now. It is the players that remind me of my team's accomplishments. But next one that I received, I will be certain to mail it to you and you can put your name on it.

| Only one to stand up to them that is funny........how is that next month he will come calling and begging yes I said begging guys form Bonnells for the kickball tourney and that is a fact (and before we even get into another opinion on that those are the true facts) and there is no getting around that, in the end see who stands up to who!! Let it go next thing you are going to blame Walt for your loss, its a game and if you didnt have fun well than thats your fault.

As for "standing up to bonnells", I am not sure what that means so I wont comment on it.
As for the previous post, again you make no sense and the problem for you is everyone sees it. Thats why people are sick of you, at what point do you see that. Maybe you just dont care what people think...thats fine but realize it costs your teammates....they have gone down with you.
Your post implies that I will be "begging" for Bonnells players. When do you realize that I have and will always be inviting "players" to participate with us in various tournaments. Let me remind you.....they are people...not propety of any team or managers. I know that conflicts in your brain with the "us against the world" attitude you are looking for but its true.
For as long as I have been involved in softball, it has been that way. Players go to tournaments with other teams when their team isnt going. Guys who play for Dempsey have gone to tournaments with Bonnells, Folmars, Parker Pools, Hilltop, and probably 10 or 15 other teams in the past six years. Also, in the 25-30 tournaments we have gone to in that time, we have had players from every one of the above mentioned teams.
When do you realize that they are not "property" of any team, just guys who like to play softball?
So come the "Kick Ball" Tourney in Aug...there will be no begging as you put it. Just an invitation. If those two guys are available, and are up for it, they will probably play ball. They wont be representing Bonnells, Hilltop, D&B, Folmars, or team name. Just themselves.
PS...I love how you still slam big ball or slow pitch but glorify modified ( a game that has rules to make the pitching slower that regular softball).
Arent we all playing slowpitch every night in a league called "modified"?
