| What does Township have to do to get some respect. We have beaten the top teams in the Skyline (except Green Mill and Stockmen's). Last night we scored 10 runs off of Stillwater's ace. We have dominated Tri-City. We have DOMINATED the Roosters. We have a candidate for league MVP (ME), and again, we have the best coaching in the league. It's time for a little recognition. Thank you in advance.

| The Township Played both Green Mill and us extremely tough. In both the cases the games could have gone either way. There coaching, heart, and true grit make them one of the toughest class "A" teams to beat.

| I have to agree. Township has outplayed the Roosters since last year....well they have outplayed everyone on the Roosters but me. They are the team nobody wants to play come post season.

| Seems fitting that Township decides to toot their own horn!
Nice team...but like Jesse Ventura, you promote yourself long enough and people think "Please just go away...".
When you clean up on Minnetonka then come back and ask for some respect. Until then just realize that you're an average team in an average league!

| No kidding, we are the best team in the skyline, but that doesn't mean that we will win it. Stockmen's will come out on top, but we should be right under neath them. What happened to Stillwater?

| Ben Doane I disagree. True, Stockmen's does have the best record, but I think that we have very little chance of competing with a Township team that has honed-in all of their many skills for the play-offs. They may just be purely unbeatable.

| I think the Stillwater players all decided to scatter into other leagues because they knew it was gonna be Township from 2008 on...Thoughts???

| By the way. Who coaches first for th township team. It seems that he can read pitchers minds, yelling "back" whenever they even think of throwing over.

| Average league? Just ask Ben Doane how average my first fastball was to him the last time we played. He didn't even see it! There is nothing average about me or the Skyline League.

| I actually turned down Minnetonka's contract offer because I didn't like the years vs. the money....So I will settle for batting .880 in the Skyline. Ben and Ryan stop wasting your time debating who's the MVP. If you have an extra 3hrs after the game tonight I'll tell you all about it.

| Sorry about not recognizing we were at the ACME Comedy club. In that case I forsee the Hogs dominating the playoffs and taking home the State Trophy this season.
No one can handle a Hog!
Township is obviously the feeder program for the Yankee's...forgive me for my lack of foresight on the matter...it must have been the Shark juice I drank last evening during the all-star game.
Best wishes to "Ben Dover" and "The Real Ben Dover!" =:-P

| No bitterness...I just didn't realize this was Comedy Central and that a person had to enjoy Jr. High sexual humor to join the "good ole' boys" club. Obviously I don't fit in with all the fart smellers in this discussion. Go Moes!!!

| Ben Done....your post was the best. It was something to the effect of champs practice eight hours a day.
If it takes a recreational player eight hours per day to practice in order to be a champion then they should put that time into fishing perhaps.
Real recreational champions just win games and don't need practice to do it. PRACTICE??????? Minnetonka practices pre-season and perhaps some optional off day BP.......perhaps we should all start practicing and then we can sign pro recreational contracts in the "River League." We could find some kind of rich cats to pay palers between 100-1000 a month to run around and play each other east and west of the river.
That way the Riverview guys could actually get to know the guys who are the best, the guys who bat over .500, throw 90, get everyone out, get a hit every time well almost anyway.
