| Wow, the 2008 baseball season has been to put it best amazing! The drama and the storys that have came out of the unlikely places is such a refreshing break from the usual yankees, boston talk. I last month started a playoff prediction thread, im going a little bit further now and taking you all to the world series champions this time while still revamping my playoff predictions a little bit.
A.L. EAST
wow, some can argue the fact that losing Manny in Boston. Might have been good for the team as far as distractions and chemistry go, but for me with the way Big Papi is swinging the lumber this year it was a huge loss. We know that Jason Bay is good but hes no where near Manny good. Thats why im an now sure that The Rays will hold on to win that divison.
A.L. CENTRAL
Griffey Jr.?...hmmmmmm i dont know if thats what i would have gone for personally if im the white sox, when my offense is this incosistent, the need would be a better bat. Not an aged at the very end of his career injury proned player, This race between the Sox and Twins couldnt be any tighter, but with the twins getting Fransico back, im giving them the nod.
A.L. West
Angles. who else? Best team in baseball cant say one damn thing bad about them.
A.L. Wild Card
Its gotta be the White Sox i expect the twins and the soxs to be side by side til the end of the season with the twins winning the divison and the sox taking the wildcard.
N.L. East
Its a tight race but phillies all the way, to much offense and good pitching Brad Lidge is lights out this year. Mets are blah to put it midly, and the fish have the worst defense in the majors.
N.L. Central
Move after move after move this team is the best team in the N.L. im talking about cubbie blue. All the right moves this year to win a championship but will that happen?
N.L. West
Dodgers, its not like u shpuld be proud to win the divison, but someone has to represnt it so ill just go with the teams who unis i like the best. O tho the rockies arent playing bad ball there about like what 10 games below .500 only 7 out of 1st? Thats impressive.
N.L. Wildcard
Some will say wheres the love for the cardinals!! well im a realist, i want the cardinals in the playoffs but with our bullpen its not gonna happen. The Brewers will win the wildcard all i can say to that is go brew crew.
A.L. Bracket
Sox vs Angles-Angles (maybe a sweep even)
Twins vs Rays- Twins ( rays no playoff exp)
ALCS Twins vs Angles-Angles (in 6 games)
N.L. Bracket
Brewers vs Cubscubs
Dodgers vs PhilliesPhillies
NLCS-Cubs
Worldseries Champion Cubs vs Angles
this is what cub fans haft to hope to avoid, there team is horrible on the road and the angles are amazing everywhere they play, cub fans ur getting to the show this year but dont be suprised if you go home disappointed. World Series goes to the Angles.

| the nl bracket may break down a lil differnt im not sure if the cubs and brewers will start play agasint each other but reguardless, the cubs will more than likely win the n.l. crown

| Its actually impossible for the cubs to play the cards or brewers in the opening playoff series...but whoever the cubs play its a no contest in the NL but the Angels i think are just too good this year especailly with the Texiera pick up but hey at least the cubs can get to a world series this year...and if cuban takes over as owner im sure we'll be back next year... GO CUBS!!!!!!!
