| We will be meeting at the pavillion on the bottom field on Wednesday the 27th at approx. 9:15pm. We have playoff games that night with the last one starting at 8:15. If my team plays in the 8:15 game, we'll have the meeting immediately after the game, if not, we'll have it at 9:15. I hope that's not too late.
I haven't figured up costs yet, but it will probably be around 330 for teams who had insurance in the summer and 360 for new teams. I think that will be a MAXIMUM cost. It will probably however, be cheaper. I'll get figures together tonight as I'm going to try something different in the fall league with scorekeeping.
The one BIG difference this year is that I am planning on having the league on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Because of the amount of rain in the fall the past 2 years and the rise in the amount of teams over the past 3 years, it's really hard to get a fall league in in just 2 nights a week. Every team will probably have 1 or 2 weeks where they play 2 nights that week.
Anyway, I'll post more information on here within a day or two but that will be the official meeting.
Also, ALL CHECKS for our softball league now and in the future will need to be made out to "Marion Recreation Department". Please do what you can to make sure your sponsor has the right name and if you are paying cash, please deposit that and get a cashier's check. This goes for everyone and all leagues.

| This is what I have right now. We will NOT have scorekeepers in the fall league. I will have the umpires update the scores on the scoreboards after the half inning and coaches will be responsible for entering the scores. Each coach will have access on the website to their teams stats and scores and they'll be responsible for updating scores for standings.
Also, League fee will be $300 for 14 games + the single elimination tournament. If your team did not play in the summer, your league fee will be $330.
Again, the meeting will be August 27th at 9:15pm at the bottom field pavilion. Monies will be due on Thursday, September 4th at the bottom field pavilion at 7pm. The league will start the following Tuesday and games for the first week will be up on the website Friday, September 5th.

| The scoreboards on each field in foul territory down the left field line. We don't have a controller for the bottom field yet because they had to order the controller that is water proof since it's not inside like the one on the top field is.
