| Two years in a row we lose to the eventual champs. Nice fight everyone. 2-1 through 7 1/2 is good, but not the best. I am sorry that I didn't come through more in Ashland. Arnie Jason and Keith threw great. Any chance we can set up a game with the Knights to decide 3rd? Hooth was very complimentary of our team while I sat by them during the Knight game, as was their coach. Don't let this break us. We all know that we thought this was our year. If we all work hard in the off season, we WILL win it next year. I love all of you guys like brothers, it sucks that it is over.... for now.
Enjoy the rest of the year, I want to set up a get together at my place this fall.

| Franky-you've got nothing to apologize for. You've been the guy to fire us up and you've been a masher in the middle all year long. Win as a team, lose as a team. That's how we do things. WE didn't get it done. Yes, we all thought this was our year, but like you said, losing to the champs in the semi final game isn't anything to hang your head about.
I'm willing to bet that come next spring we will all believe that it will be our year. And doing it in Haugen will sure be sweet!

Let's face it, somehow we need to get over this hump, together as a team. Yes we definitely have to improve something about our game in the offseason, that is just part of being competetive. I agree wholeheartedly with Moose's comments Win as a team, Lose as a team. Yes, there is next year, only if we stick together and continue to commit ourselves to being the best!!! But it will only happen if we stick together with the same guys. We have the best chemistry of any team in the WBA by far. We just need to put it all together and catch a break. It will come!!! If there is something I have learned over the last few years, contrary to some belief's and my own at times, there is more to life than baseball. Yes, we wanted to win it all, but there is something that you can "Be the Best" at, and that is being a father. I have seen you become a great ballplayer, and I truly mean that. I have also seen you be a great father. Now it is time to focus on that. I mean let's face it we are father's and husbands before any game. That is what makes our team so special, it is not just a game, it is much, much more. And as long as I can play it with guys like you, I will keep on pushing myself in the offseason.
