| Is anybody still logging on at all to check things out?? Respond to this so I know who is. Looking to get people together at my place soon... if nobody responds, I will contact Denny to get phn nmbrs. Packers still suck... and cheat... and suck again... I am such a sore loser

| It's ok Frank. Time heals all wounds. That and bandaids and well...I don't think they make bandaids big enough for this wound nor is there enough time to heal the wound that is another disappointing loss by the vikings but hey look on the bright side....um....bow season started today! OH!! and I still check this so yeah...

| Hey Frankie! In the words of one famous speaker(Mike J), long time reader, first time responder. Yeh, I still check it out to see if there's anything new. I'm sure quite a few others still do to. And bowhunting did start today, although not a lot to talk about. Maybe I'll have to try hunting during the time of what my mood symbol is.

| OK, so maybe it is the Vikings who still suck. I am still working on a date for a get together, but hopefully within the month of Sept. Not the 20th so probably the last weekend of the month. New QB, new coach, and then we'll be set. Later.

Childress??? Please do something now Vikes front office and we can still salvage this season! But boring, very predictable childress must go now!!! It is pretty sad that the commentators and every fan watching the game knows which play is coming next, do you think the opposing team may have a clue also??? Sorry for my ranting on the team I stick by for what reason I'm not so sure anymore!
I usually check this Forum once a week or so, but let me know Mean Bear, about the get together at your place, kids invited???

| Sorry to cut into your killing spree noid but I was hoping to get all people together on the 28th or 27th this month. Let me know what you all are up to. Everybody needs to come, everyone can bring a dish to pass, and some beer to drink. I may go to the Vikes game this Sunday, if I do I am definitely holding a "Fire Childress NOW" sign. You are right Bear, if they don't change now, they will be lucky to win 6 games. Field goal, FG FG F F G G F G F G F Gs suck. This should be a Viking and hunting blog during the offseason!! | Hey-I still check this thing. I am going to the Viking circus, errr game this Sunday. I'm thinking about bringing a a loudspeaker and trying to start a chant along the lines of "Childress has got to go, or the Vikings will continue to blow!" I might be busy on the 27th, but the 28th should work for me. Plan it for when the most people can make it though. I don't want any special treatment.
Noid-are those grouse with a bow, shotgun, or a small caliber firearm? I got nothing so far, but I'm typically a slow starter.

Frankie, next weekend I will be in the middle of the woods with Berquist shooting at any and all waterfowl that fly by. Sorry man. It's duck opener and I don't miss that for much. Keep me posted on upcoming shin digs though.

PS. Brad Childress is the latest in the line of one of the best things to happen to the Green Bay Packers. I used to say that about Denny Green and Mike Tice too!!!!!

| Jay, I was hunting alone so the id skills are intact. May be a different story this Saturday as I will be with Berquist. The guy can hit a 90mph fastball but can't tell a truck from a buck...scary.

Hey Noid-where exactly are you and Berquist hunting this weekend?? I like to take slow drives through the woods from time to time, and want to make sure that I'm not mistaken for a duck. Thanks for the heads up!
Frank-I was at the game this past weekend. It was great-especially the Winfield sack/recovery/TD. The stadium was going crazy when that happened. But I wouldn't buy the Superbowl tickets just yet. Wait 1 more week for that. See you later!

Let them put 11 in the box AP is a stud just give him the dam ball. Go Vikes Go. My prediction is they will get it turned around and win the division.

| No waiting around, fire Childress now! Predictable again, although he cant hold on to the football for the players. Tarvaris looked good though) Culpepper is available. Berrian cant catch the ball, unless it is a one handed catch. The calls seemed unusually bad. That play at the goal line on 4th down for them was unreal. WTF was that damn ref looking at before the replay. The side judge I mean, he never got to the 1/2 yard line and he fumbled!!! Crappy holding penalties. It seems as though we are just an undisciplined team. Delay, illegal formation, offsides, fumbled snaps, poor route running, poor coverage, NO PASS RUSH STILL!!! At least we are in the NFC north and still have a pretty realistic shot at winning the division, if Gus is not out for more than a week. We should be 3-3 after the next two games, N.O. and Det. See you guys.
