| I know what 100 wins gets you... Lackey and Hunter crying about how the best team lost! What a joke, instead of whining and crying about how they didn't get the breaks, how they were the better team, blah blah blah, why not just hold your head up, be a man and acknowledge that the Red Sox actually played better than the Angels did and give them some credit!
Last year they complained they got beat because Anderson had conjunctivitis, someone had a stomach virus, etc... I think they actually said the rally monkey was day to day with a sprained ankle from jumping too much!
Now this year it was the Sox who were banged up but yet still managed to beat them...AGAIN!
Anyways I guess when you're the team that's supposed to win it all, like the Angels thought they were, you start to make excuses, cry, moan and complain about everything you can instead holding yourself to blame and accepting the fact that maybe you just got beat by the better team!!!

| It was 1988. Dodgers are #5 in all time World Series winners. I root for Angels but if it came down to Dodgers or Angels I'm a Dodger fan. Too bad Angels lost. My neighbor "says" he is an angel fan and tells me that the Dodgers suck. I put him in his spot. He doesn't even watch them on TV. I give him game updates. I also told him that your not a very good neighbor when you tell me the Dodgers suck. If he had a team he was rooting for I would stick up for him unless my team is playing. Jeeeez...Giant Angel fan but tells me to watch his game. I don't mind I love watching baseball. Baseball has been verrry verrry good to me man.

IF CHICAGO OR THE DODGERS WERE IN AL THEY NEVER WOULDVE OF MADE IT. THE A'S AND RANGERS WERE WAY BETTER THEN THE DODGERS. REALITY IS SETTING IN RIGHT NOW FOR THE DODGER FANS GO PHILLY PS IT HURTS WORSE TO LOSE IN SECOND ROUND THEN IT DOES IN THE FIRST.

| Where to start here... HOP, he's not a good neighbor because he says Dodgers suck? I think that there would be a lot of more important criteria involved in making that decision. Perhaps if you occasionally watered your lawn instead of that dustbowl you have he'd like you more.
I'm sorry, but the Angels DID choke! Learn how to catch a pop-up or put down a bunt. GA as a number two hitter? Please! When you are the "best" team in baseball, it is a choke when you lose to the wildcard team.
Angels need to let Frankie travel on and sign Tex at all costs, perhaps they can use the left over money to sign a real second baseman.

| Ha. Boston a wild card team try the defending world champions. wild card team with lester, beckett and dice k as if those were fishes on the mound give me a break. those 3 pitchers are better than lackey saunders and santana any day so how can that be a choke? good pitching beats good hitting any day so its not a choke to lose to any one of those pitchers.

| I'm a huge Angel's Fan. But let's face it they choked big time. getting blown out by Boston 3 years in a row.there's no excuse considering the talent the Angel's have. You have to give the Dodger's a lot of credit for playing well when it counts. The Cubs were a joke, but to beat Philly the Dodgers are going to have to work for it. If They face the Boston Red sucks in the World Series I'll be Dodger Fan big time.

| Dodgers won't make it now. Torre batted his pitcher again in the late innings only to back fire and still removing that pitcher next inning allowing Phils to score 4 big runs. He has done this 3 times already. Hey Joe don't we have pinch hitters on the bench? And Broxton is no closer.

| Angels choked??? Come on!! I guess that's just Joe Dirt being Joe Dirt...
Sure they are (were) a talented team, but the Red Sox are just AS talented. Why would you say they choked and not give credit to the Sox for shutting down that mighty Angel offense! So what if the Angels won 100 games this year! Did you happen to see the run differential? I think it was in the 60s... The fact that they won 100 probably has more to do with them being lucky than good!
What about your great, record setting poser, I mean closer K-Fraud! He got exposed for what he really is, a fraud! The Angels set up to where he gets 3 out saves (if that) all year, and when he's asked to get a big boy save he got lit up! AGAIN!
Whatever the case may be Angels' fans, you got beat by the better team! If it helps you sleep at night to think you choked so be it. I guess you better start learning the Anaheimlich Maneuver, with all those free agents, there will be more "choking" to come!!

Angel's played great all year.During the boston series they left like 45 guys on base.they also made rookie mistakes,Sure boston is a good team, But it's my job as an Angel's fan to hate them. And you can always count on Joe Dirt being Joe Dirt-Now let get back to readin my Autotrader

| Who's sad? Last time I checked Sox fans have every bragging right against the Angels' fans! Besides, it's the 1st team to 4 wins remember?
Even if we do get beat, we will have gotten beat by a deserving and better Rays team... (If we get beat)
You won't hear players making excuses of bad calls or how we beat ourselves!! I'll give it up to the Rays for an outstanding season!
Maybe Maddon should have given Scioscia advice on how to beat the Sox. I'm sure the Rays can execute a squeeze play... I would have said to teach the Angels' how to hit the long ball but their heavy hitters turned into singles hitters. Way to trade Kotchman for a rental that couldn't even hit anything but singles!

| WOW!!!! That was an incredible comback from the Champs last night!
I must admit I was pretty much thinking that the series was over. It's hard not to feel that way when Tampa had beaten the Sox to a pulp at Fenway.
You're right hobbes, the Sox may still end up on the losing end of this series, but yesterday's comeback was arguably the biggest comeback I have ever seen! Like the saying goes, "Never underestimate the heart of a champion"!
Only question now is which Beckett will show up to pitch game 6... Stay tuned... GO RED SOX!!!

| Gotta give the Socks some respect for not giving up. I guess you can never have enough Insurance runs against experienced team. I wonder if the Ray's are thinking about ALCS series between the Yanks and Sox,when New York was up 3 to 1 and then lost it. But then again maybe the Ray's Want to win it at home.
