| Just wanted to get some info from you guys . Last year we had some complaints about the move to city park . If i get City Park again will evryone be happy . It is the perfect place to have a tournament 4 feilds all together . Daylight was a problem last year i will have Clegg as a backup if we run out of daylight . Post what you liked and didnt like .

| It was $150 last year that was with turkeys , with turkeys and the donation it will be from $150 to $175 . I MAKE NOTHING ON THIS TOURNEY !!! | good idea arty, make that a rule and you have to enforce it, i think i played on 5 teams last year and not because they were shortb guys. the one homerun rule sucks, if your going to do that then you should make it that the first guy who hits one is that teams hr hitter and can hit as many as he wants, go true u-trip.

| we are having that same problem, in my opinion, with fall ball. open rosters means that you can bring in guys, there are no exemptions.
it doesn't mean that you should be picking guys up every weekend. ive gotten several complaints that SEVERAL teams are doing this weekly. picking up a guy because you are unexpectedly short is no big deal, everyone wants to play. But, it shouldn't be happening weekly, make some calls and get some new guys.

| good call smitty, it happened to us last weekend and even though i okayed it it still shouldnt of happened and it was pretty piss poor because they had enough to play but still picked up ernie as a ringer.

| If you are refering to the Fall Ball League then i agree. If it is going to be 1-2 players once or twice...Ok but not every week. I know Jeremy from crow was stuggling to get to nine and he called so he didnt have to forfit. I think after this week we should lock our roster's so it doesnt get out of control for the playoff's

| just read demontis post...would mike rather we played them with 10? I asked him stright up...I first asked everybody on the Firefighters if they wanted to play..they said no. Ernie was 2 beers under when he came down and asked if anybody needed a player. I just read the book..Ernie was 3-8 with a homer in each game. Thats what I would expect from any number 5 hitter in the lineup. Certainly not the difference in either game. Heres the reason Sandy Bottom lost...Demonti pops up too much. That said, we are happy to forfeit the games. I had a great time playing those games and really enjoyed Tommy Macs 2 homeruns. And Josh Dionne put a fielding display at 3B that we just dont see every day. When Demonti wasnt popping up he was rifleing bullets all over the field ...but come on, we hit the ball very well that day and played very solid defensively. Adding Ernie in no way gave us an advantage over SB. He replaced Vernet..who certainly would have hit 2 homeruns in 8 at bats at Club Jogues. I dont know what to say except that go ahead and change our record. We just dont care . Does anybody?

| just to clarify, bob did ask me and i clearly said i didnt mind. i dont want your record changed, you guys clearly played great ball and hit the ball well and deserved to win and it wasnt because you had ern. i was more making a reference to other teams that i have heard stacking up, not farm dog persay.you guys play well and have a great team and beat us fair and square. but you did have 10 and would of beat us with 10, you guys were on fire rite thru your lineup, chip had a day and every one else had a day. and lb4lb i just checked my book and you got me out once on a pop up in the first game and you failed to get me out in the second game.

| Artie, just a couple of quick questions for you.
I know we discussed if you were going to make it a one pitch unlimited arc tournament, and you said that alot of people complained about it. I know that my guys all loved the one pitch unlimited arc play. More importantly we had issues with daylight last year, thus if you go with another format it would take even longer, I actually don't see how you would get around that.
I think that it would be even worse if we had to sit around in the cold from early in the morning to 6:00 or 7:00 at night and have to move over to Atwood or Clegg to finish it off. Thus, you would either have to keep it a one pitch tournament or get rid of the three game elimination and make it a two game elimination or something of that nature to get them all in. We just don't have ample amount of daylight to do a regular tournament with a three game garantee unless we were to stay with the one pitch format. See what guys would rather do, ditch the three game garantee or play unlimited arc.

| Mert its funny guys complained last year but this year they are begging for it . So we are going one pitch unlimited arc . I think it really balanced teams out last year and is alot more fun . One suggestion sunday was to make guys pay $5 if they struck out looking and give the pitcher with the most strike outs a 25lb turkey . It doesnt matter to me as long as the majority is happy and everyone has fun. One pitch will move the games along . Taking 16 team we will need to play the finals at Clegg . Clegg is only 5 minutes from city park .
