| We should start to think about the annual off-season meeting again.
Everyone should make an attempt to attend as this is where we discuss what kind of schedule we want to play and who the manager will be.
Any topics can be addressed at this meeting.
Should we shoot for the first weekend in January? This would ensure that nobody would be away at school.
Of course we would have to bowl afterward.

| I think its a good idea C-Bass. We also need to discuss if we need to do another hat again (I think we have like 5 left) or if we need anything else apparel-wise.

| Not sure i'll be able to make it this weekend either as i will be out of town it looks like?! Who would be likely candidates for manager and i will vote on here if thats ok? Other than that i don't have any ideas of anything this year other than that maybe we shouldn't be in that many tourney's since it seems that most people don't show to them for one reason or another? Other exhibitions seem to work better for us it seems. I.E. friday and saturday nights in menahga especially and other teams like to play there as well. I do have ideas for different t-shirt designs, i can discuss those with whoever it may concern at a later date though. Also, communication NEEDS to be better on if people are gonna be at the games or not. No shows are not acceptable and i feel there should be some sort of consequence for it, the manager needs to take care of that of course, but its not that hard to make a phone call the the right person. Unless it an emergency, which is rareley the case. A hangover is not a good excuse either, fucking grow up. Hope everyone had a good Christmas! and a Happy New Year!

| OK, we have to just set a date and here it is: Friday, January 9th 8:00pm at the bowling alley (time is negotiable).
We have to decide on scheduling issues and the manager role. Right now it sounds like Shroomy and Puck are both candidates. If anyone else is serious put your name in now so people can think about it before hand.
If you can't make the meeting and have any opinion at all please make it be known.
Tournaments:
St Cloud 6/5-6/7
Sobieski 6/20-6/21
Wahpeton 6/27-6/28
Wolf Lake is getting a tourney organized similar to Sobieski that they want us to be in. THey are inviting only top quality teams.
Another issue is if we would have enough players to schedule Wed night and Friday night games home or away. This would free up some weekends while getting people innings/at-bats.

As for tourneys I would be for the St Cloud tourney and maybe Wolf Lake if we could play some different teams.
I obviously can't make Wed. night games but would be available for most Friday night games.
As for manager i'll call you C-Bass by Friday, and by then we should know who all wants to do it.
Do we need to do another hat? I'm fine with what I have (i have 2 hats) but I'm not sure if everyone elses are in good shape or not. If we do, we could go through Zephyr, and possibly New Era.
Chuke I could help rig up the tees or whatever designs you are pondering unless C-Bass wants to, but I think I could get better pricing.

| Eino you are in charge of the apparel division. If we can get New Era 5950 hats I will buy 5 of them right now. By far the best ballcap available. The zephyrs weren't bad though.

| Eino, ill let you know what im thinking on apparell and so forth, not in a rush im sure unless you need to know asap or something?! My hat is in good standing for now too! Would anyone be interested in an alternate uni top? I could get a black 2 button mesh jersey for 7 bux a piece so with screen printing the bird on the chest and numbers front and back we would only be looking @ 20 bux for a quick change of uni. I think it would be a good idea and that is really cheap! Let me know guys, i'll order the top right away so it doesn't sell out if we have enuf yeses!

| Party???? we better hire some security if he is the manager! I'm concerned of an impeachment or assasination. Im' just saying it wouldn't hurt to hire the FBI joe chase and the ROCK to be by his side at all times, that should do the trick! We can have a team meeting about it if you wish, but i'd rather be safe than sorry.

| It sounds like people would be in favor of New Era from what I've heard through the grapevine. I'm meeting with the rep tomorrow so I will find out if we can do it through them. If so we would be looking at a substantially higher price but New Era is probably the best. Congratulations Puckstar!

| We are going to the World Baseball Classic as Team Finland.
Also, St. Cloud Tourney & Wahpeton Tourney. Possibly join a Wolf Lake Tourney if it works out. No Sobieski as of now.

| I decline my offer to play for team Finland in the WBC. My reasoning is that i feel i need the extra month off to let my body get read for the rough lake and pine regular season. Further more my agent Mr. Maguire advised me not too.Other than that sounds good.

| some random thoughts...
- i like the idea of having a second jersey or uniform but i really don't think it should be black, for one thing its not even one of the colors and i think its not a good idea to start messing with a team's identity, second if you have been playing since 2002 then you have already spent about $200 on uniforms so maybe we should look at how we can use the white uniforms for this season as a second...
- if you have any apparel ideas send them to eino and maybe he can then run them by the rest of us...
- i think there is a unanimous vote for getting new era hats, if we can get them will they be blue or like last year's with the white front panel? my vote blue with yellow eyelets and white button...
- tourneys: like boss stated st. cloud, wahpeton and wolf lake most likely once they get it organized... sobieski could be fun but we struggled to get guys to go there for 2 years in a row and no one stays there (except the cash cab trio of alby boss and shroomy)...
- class B: it was discussed at the metting of maybe going to class B and while i agree that our league is not the most competitive (although our divison isn't bad) it is what it is, fergus has to deal with it and so does wolf lake in our league and i don't think it would be wise to break up the best rivalry in the area with wolf lake because it would not be the same just playing with nothing at stake... there are other things like increased travel and what would happen should a few people leave the team in the future and the team wanted to go back to class C but i feel most importantly we have a legit chance to win the class C title something that i don't think we can say about class B...
- i understand it was tough for most of you to make the meeting on such short notice and those that didn't it is apprecited that you got your opinions out on the message board, the rest of you need to do the same because june is not the time to have a gripe...
- maybe we can have another meeting over st urho weekend since most people will probably be around...
- one last thing, in a backroom type of deal, slick was made official permanent timekeeper...

| I like the thoughts Puck. I think its ok to go with a type of "alternate" color on more of like apparel items such as tees or sweatpants (as in black) but think it would be best not to mess with the uni on that.
As Puck stated, if you have any thoughts/needs/wants on apparel let me know. I realize we already have like 6 or 7 different things we have done with apparel in the last 3 years but its a way for the team to make a little money (or sometimes none) and also have sweet stuff to wear.
As for the hats I'm for New Era or Zephyr. I still need to call the New Era guy to see if he will do it, its been a little hectic for me lately though. I would be for going with all blue, gold eyelets and blue button so that people who have the "old" zephyr blue hat from two years ago could use that and not even have to buy a new one if they don't want to.
Agree on Sobieski, there is some good competition and its right next to me but people don't seem to get too fired up for it so its not as fun.
I just think it would be hard to be class "B" mainly based upon travel.
I nominate Beener to be permanent timekeeper whens Slick is not present.
I also nominate Prune aka Rat to smoke a rally Vantage before every game or whenever we need a Midway rally. Thats all for now....

| Puck, congrats on the managerial position! I'll play my heart out for you! As far as the alternate uniform discussion, i am in the works for putting together a sample black (thats the point of alternate, not one of your primary colours!) and i'll show it to you guys, you might like them. If not my wife will have a custom replica or i'll sell it on the black market. On another note, I was wondering and i'm sure we all are, what your coaching philosophy will be this year? Small Ball with an emphasis on Pitching or Gorilla Ball with an emphasis on steroids, cortizone injections and feeders? Or maybe something cool, something we've never even heard about, I don't know...!

| I agree with Puck, we have perfectly good white jerseys that are not in use or actually most of us have grey sleeveless from 2002 that we could pull out of retirement.

| Jack Williams looks good,we should be able to get our first game in, I just got back from shoveling the mound and homeplate off. Hopefully with the change in climate, we should be able to get on the field by next week for some BP, and some midway "DOGGS"

New Era can get it done so if we need new hats and people want New Era let it be known and i'll get it done. It will take about 8 weeks to get them done if we want to do it. | I think the blue hats are our best option. I would take a couple also. Here's my two cents on the alternative uni's. Why don't we wear the white uni's for home games since everyone likes them and wear the blue/gray's for our alternative or away games. I'd be honored to wear the legendary white's. Would it be possible to order mesh shorts with the logo on them, I would take a few of those also.

On a side we should probably try to win state this year. I am going to attempt to get in a little better shape. Cub and I have a bet going to be down to a certain weight by the first game. For every pound over the other man owes $5.

| Etter are you growing what some would call, "hockey hair"? Not a bad idea. I talked to C-Bass and we concluded we should go with 72 hats. With the Zephyr hats last year we had 72 and we are down to just a couple left. I'll get on it and we should have them sometime early to mid April, just in time for spring training. We'll probably be looking at $25 per hat for the New Eras.
