| In the efforts in trying to make County/Community one of the best tourneys in the nation we will be selling County/Community merchandise through the year to raise the money needed to give you guys the best prize package possible. I would like to give a big cash prize to the winner this year along with the 2010 Easton deal. YES its in stone so it does not matter how many teams show for this the Easton deal will be for the winning team this year. We can only take 64 max for 2009 and we have 36 verbals at this time.
2009 County Community Tourney
2009 County/Community teams Oct 16-18 Fisher and Panther Creek Parks in Owensboro Ky. Friday night we will be having a home run derby and be raising money for Cystic Fibrosis. More announcements coming very soon!!!
Just wanted to give everyone an update on what the plans are for the 2009 County/Community Championship in Owensboro Ky October 16-18. On Friday night we will be having a home run derby and other activities going on at Fisher Park. Friday night we will be raising money for Cystic Fibrosis with some very interesting people to be there. I will be selecting a Ky Team to go in a head to head Home Run derby against a "Mystery team" We also would like to announce that Jeff Boston with Johnny B's Pizza will be promoting this event along with Jared Bratcher and the CVB of Owensboro. Johnny B's will be the reason that John Daniels Softball 360 will be at this tourney.
This year I am selling "I support County/Community "Softball T-Shirts for $8 and sales began on Thursday and every shirt that is sold $1 will go towards the cash prize. Just sold 3 to a guy in Canada so hopefully we can make this one of the biggest tourneys in the nation. I will give a total update of shirts sold every Friday morning by 9am CST. On my website.
