| The API Fantasy Baseball World Series York Tournament just got more exciting! To accommodate all of the individual players interested in signing up for the event, we are altering the format. Nothing will change in terms of the number of games played and all of the other exciting activities we have already been promoting. However, on the tournament’s first day we will be holding a unique combine workout during which each participant will be evaluated by our pro staff in all aspects of the game – pitching, hitting, infield and outfield.
Following the combine we will be holding a welcome party that will feature a live draft. Each participant may request for up to two people to be on your team prior to the draft.
The members of the winning team automatically will be entered in the API World Series Championship, to be held in January 2010 at Pirate City in Bradenton, FL, the spring home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The winning team from every API World Series tournament will automatically advance to the World Series Championship. Lodging and entry fees for that event will be taken care of by us all you have to do is find a way down to the tournament!
