| Dan, last night our game was called over at 8:42 at the end of the fifth inning. the rule states: "The first double header of the night will be finished by 8:45. If the second game has reached 8:45, then the current inning will be the last one. If the game is tied at that time, the game will end in a tie." My understanding of this rule is basically a inning cannot start after 8:45. Also, the score keeper stated that "no matter what the score or what half of the inning it is the game would have been called over at 8:45." This Interpretation will cause major problems if not addressed. I believe some clarification to the players, umpires and the score keepers need to be addressed to avoid potential problems.
