| FROM KEVIN DOLAN....
Here's an opportunity to play golf at a nice course AND support a good cause. My Mother-in-law was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) 4 years ago and has been suffering ever since. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is a neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Nerve cells and pathways are destroyed, robbing patients of the ability to walk, to speak, and eventually breathe. Patients live an average of 2-5 years after diagnosis.
I know there are a lot of golfers/hackers in our league so I was hoping we could put in a few teams. Below is all the information and if you have any questions, please contact me at 497-7129 or email KJDPhotography@aol.com.
THE INAUGURAL JANET FERRI A.L.S. CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT River Ridge Golf Course (near Foxwoods) Rt 164 (off 395), Griswold CT. 06351 When: Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009 at 9:00AM Shotgun Start Cost: $125.00 per person $500 per team
There will be a full buffet after the tournament with raffles, prizes, and a silent auction.
Please reserve your place by June 15th.
All proceeds will benefit the CT and RI Chapters of ALS.
If you can't play/attend and would like to donate or provide a raffle prize, please contact me. Tee Sponsors ($25.00) I will post a list of prizes soon.
Thank you, Kevin Dolan

| sorry kev i already am in a tournament in june. I do one a summer max because A) im cheap and B)the condition I usually return home in makes my wife almost as unhappy as when Dutilly shows up with nothing but a banana hammock on.

| Thanks Ant...appreciate the kind words!
Thanks anyway Ern and oh yeah, thanks for the Dutilly visual...man, I had just eaten when I first read that about the hammock!
UPDATE: The price is $100 per player (not $125.00)
I'll post the entire prize list when we finish collecting but we already have an 2007 World Series Autographed ball sent to us from Curt Schilling (he is a big sponsor of ALS), an Autographed Tom Glavine ball, Passes to Gold's Gym, A Luxury Suite to a Norwich Navigators game, Tattoo cert, Body Piercing cert., Bases Loaded cert. and that's just a few of the many raffle prizes we have.
We are looking for some RI businesses to donate some prizes as well. If anyone knows someone who would donate, please let me know and I'll pick it up. Thanks, Kevin
