| I think we have had a scorekeeper every night except for 2 Fridays ago when Jason (the scorekeeper) called about 4pm and was coming down with the flu.

| Sorry, I put the scores in the folling day but didnt have time to get the stats in. I didnt remember the stats werent in until I read your post. I will try to have them loaded after my game tues night, they will be there weds at the latest. Also, if you slip me a twenty i would get them loaded that night, just kidding. I usually can get the friday games put in saturday morning. I am supposed to keep score on Monday night too, but I have had bad luck the last 2 mondays we had games, and had to miss. When I am there i probably wont get time until weds night to load the stats. It doesnt take long but I am usually busy tuesday nights.

| so about those stats? I don't understand why ours are not on there yet. I was told by wednesday and then by saturday. I know ur busy and all but i'd like to be able to see my teams stats just like all the other teams. thanks!

| Your stats from the first two games are up, your stats from fridays games will be up sometime. If you want to see your teams stats that bad then you should keep score of your games also.

| You are Correct "v". They are paid to put up scores and you did pay to have them done. Sometimes it just takes an extra day or two, but they should be up

| Vicky- I am sorry aout the delay for your first two games. It may not be a valid reason but I am very busy during the week and I get the scores up in my spare time. As far as the pay goes yes the scorekeeper job does get paid as Dan said, but that is not the reason I offered to help. In the past few years we have had problems with scorekeepers it seems, so I offered my time. Like Dan said it may take a couple of days to get te scores posted, but they will br posted before your next game. Unfortunately the team stats may not always be up at the same time. If this an issue i am sorry, i really dont know what to tell you.

| If you are no longer interested in doing your job and being a scorekeeper, please let us know. As you are fully aware (because this has been gone over before with you), it takes at least 3 weeks after your first pay period ends to checks done. The first period ended Sunday May 17th. 3 weeks after that was yesterday. It has been like that since we have started paying through the City of Marion. John or myself can't just cut a check anymore.
Again, if you're not interested in doing this any more, please give one of us a call. If you are, please handle your responsibilities and contact us with any concerns instead of making comments on the message board.

| Dan, All persons in this league need to know why we are short umpires and scorekeepers. What Job cuts you a paycheck 6 weeks later? Last year I know of several umpires on the last check that it took 8+ weeks. I wonder if I go out to eat for breakfast and tell the manger at Bob evans that I will send them the money in oh say 6-8 weeks. I think Id be gettin a ride in a williamson county cop car. I really dont care if you want the info posted. How about the talk show on raido comming up this week. FIRE us all DAN! What I wont get a check? Whats NEW????? You know its BS and thats why you dont want GQ public to know. I bet the guy cuttin the checks dont go 6 weeks and than 3 more. THEY NEED A DIFFERENT SYSTEM AND IT TAKES PEOPLE WITH A SET TO GET THINGS CHACNGED FOR THE BETTER!!!!!!!!!!! END OF STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| Here it is. Players paid a fee, they gripe because stats arent up in a timely manner. Deservedly so, they paid for a service and it should be done on time and correct to the best of the ability. Same with scorekeepers and umpires. They do a service and deserve a paycheck in a timely manner. What you are saying Dan, it is ok for players to put comments about stats not getting done on time but dont want comments about pay not being done in a timely manner.Why was it last year if you say once payment is started it is every 3 weeks that the last pay of last year was 8+ weeks late. That was the last pay period!!!!!!!!!!! Not the 1st. Maybe Mayor Butler needs a letter?

We do our best to have umpires and scorekeepers scheduled. We have scorekeepers scheduled for every single game. If someone gets sick or calls at the last minute, it’s pretty hard to find someone. It’s actually really hard to find someone if we even find out the day before.
As far as umpires, that has been addressed on here multiple times but people either don’t read the posts or can’t comprehend them. We give our schedule to the Umpire Association, they schedule the umpires. #1 – There aren’t a ton of umpires and #2 a majority of them already have high school games scheduled in May and part of June. I just can’t make umpires.
I will say this. You are a liar. Flat out. You do not know any umpires who got paid 2 months after they worked. You are just simply a liar. That’s why you didn’t leave a name. The rest of your post is uneducated and immature. All umpires (at the umpire meeting) and scorekeepers were told that their first check would take 2-3 weeks to get. After that, they come every 2 weeks. It’s just the first check that takes a while to get processed.
I don’t care who knows, what’s said on the radio, etc… I told the person to bring it up to us personally if they have issues, which is what they should do. If you’ve ever worked somewhere, you know that if you have a problem you bring it to the people who get you paid, not the cafeteria.
I have no issues with people having a problem with something about the league. But something as ignorant and as trashy as what you’ve just written, I couldn’t give two craps about what you think.

| Ironic, please see the above comments. The 8 weeks late issue is simply not true. It’s just not. That is a fact. I challenge you to give me factual information about who got paid 8 weeks late and I will personally give you $250. No risk on your end except to put your facts up here with your name. Simple as that.
I don’t care if you write Mayor Butler or President Obama. I and John Abney have volunteered our time, never taking a cent for 4 years for me now. Please write a letter and have them ask us to step down and see if you play any softball. Seriously, be a grown man and step up and back up your words with actions and a name.

| This all started because I didnt get Vicky's teams stats up, she voiced a complaint about it (as she should have) and I fixed it, thats it. As far as the coed stats go, if I keep the score of your game and make a mistake or take too long to get stats up just let me know, and I will fix it. If you have to keep on my case about it as Vicky did, thats ok, sometimes I need someone to jump my case about stuff to get things done. The bottom line just leave your name and tell me what your complaint is. Its no big deal, its not worth getting mad about and saying something you will regret later.

| I forgot one thing, I have known the mayor for a long time and am pretty sure he doesnt give a damn about an anonymous or anyones complaint about the softball league. I have a pretty good idea where that letter would end up.

| Did I log on the Clubbers site by accident??? Who really gives a shit about their city league softball stats? Uggggh I hit 4 bombs on the 275 foot field last night ugggghhh...I'm hitting .500 uggghhhhh....WHO CARES. Dan perhaps these characters should see the picture of the dog??
