| I want to thank everyone who volunteered on such short notice yesterday. I wasn't sure how in the world we would be able to pull everything off. But, thanks to several people who pitched in, the day went by very smoothly. I know all of the visiting teams enjoyed themselves.
I'm going to get in trouble here if I try to name everyone who helped us host a day of some great baseball (the list where folks volunteered is not in my possession at the present time, plus there were a few who did things that weren't signed on that sheet anyway). Just know that, if you pitched in, it is very deeply appreciated!
I know that I already had a very good feeling about the group of people that were assembled on this team, and after yesterday, my feelings weren't confirmed, they were exceeded.
There aren't many times that you will find the number of quality teams/programs in one location for a regular season doubleheader as we were blessed to assemble yesterday. A pure baseball fan could've come out and spent $5 to watch some quality baseball all day long.
I hope that all of our folks who are new to the Post 11 program took notice of the first class sportsmanship that was so evident yesterday. Those of you who were in attendance know now why I stressed the importance of sportsmanship during the parents meeting. We want to be included with the likes of the programs that were represented yesterday when it pertains to being a first class program.
I hope that everyone has enjoyed the glimpse of what we are about to embark upon this summer. With the amazing group of people on this team (players and parents), there is no question that this summer has the chance of being one of the best of all time in the Post 11 history.
Thanks again!
