| I know how we can spice this site up. Any opinions on which league is better? Is it the Riverview with Tonka and Park plus several other good teams. Or is it the PN, SL or St. Paul.
Nothing like some good banter to make things more fun.

| I haven't seen much of the other leagues yet this year, but it seems that the Skyline has improved a lot this year. There is a lot of young talent across the teams it's turning into a top league.

| It may have to be separated into two different arguments... Which league top to bottom is better, and which league has the best teams? Most would argue that Minnetonka and St Louis Park are the top two teams in state, but does that mean the Riverview is the best league? Lyon's, Green Isle, Sport and Spine and Cold Spring may argue otherwise. Your thoughts?

| Since I started this I will add more. In doing so these are my opinions which may irritate some, may spice this site up and perhaps piss people off.......with all due respect these are my opinions.
The Riverview and Park National have the toughest league schedules in Class A.
The Riverview has the worst team in Westside but I firmly believe they have the best pitching. Guys like Gabe Eikum, Woodrow, Shane Wright, Bray and Edstrom are probably 5 of the top ten pitchers in the state. Pitching depth in the Riverview is insane and aside from Tonka and Park being in the league this pitching depth is why I think the Riverview is the best league.
Additionally the top teams in the Riverview play tougher schedules outside of the league games. Park National, Skyline and St. Paul (for the most part) play weaker non league schedules.
One thing to also consider with a club like Park is they are on a player and pitcher rotation meaning they are old and merely gearing up to prepare for the post season. Sure they win their share of games but it is not un-common for them win less then 30 regular season games in a 45+ regular season schedule.
These are my thoughts for now........

| As far as the Stockmen's tourney it would be nice to view such tournaments as top billing to compare who is better then who. However some teams due to lack of pitching depth and league games upcoming may not go for wins in these types of tournaments. Also some teams may have players missing for such tournaments as they focus more on their league scheudles.

| Can we get someone who isn't on the bias train. thanks. Tons of good and great pitchers in Class A. How about that Lindstrom fella for the Shamrocks. He made work of Tonka twice in the tourney last year. The lefty for Sport and Spine had great outings against the Pub and Tonka.
The riverview used to be dominated by Richfield for about two to three years until Rudd went to the Saints and Mee was drafted. you can ask SLP and Tonka about that team. Now, Richfield is terrible. Waiting for them to fold (again). You got Tonka and SLP and now maybe the E-Sox. that's it. Park National, Skyline, and St. Paul have highly competitive leagues where all teams can make some noise, except for those teams like the blue sox and metro knights.
Try posting some valuabe insight besides all this talk about YOUR own team. Good day.
P.S. Gabe is a great pitcher! so is Fuller! and of course Eddy!
