Ive read some of the posts and from what ive heard and seen thus far this season about the leagues.
*Riverview has the most quality pitching but after Minnetonka, St. Louis Park, and Edina its not as deep as some say.
*Park National is the deepest and competetive league top to bottom.
*St Paul is very competetive with great teams but bottom of the league is very weak
*Skyline is getting better but some teams have not lived up to there potential

| I agree, some of the skyline teams have not played like they can (Stillwater/Green Mill). It seems that every team has been throwing their aces at these two teams (Wolf's performance over Stillwater was amazing). Once Stillwater and Green Mill get their bats going, they will be two of the top teams in the state.
The Township has suprised a lot of people already this year and they will keep it going as long as they have pitching.
The Irish are almost unbeatable with Wolf throwing. Solid team and lineup.

| Solid rankings.....good work for all of us to enjoy.
Valid points by all re: the leagues. The Park National is a very solid league no doubt and always has been however I will state (with all due respect) that the pitching in the Riverview is very deep 7-8 teams out of the ten. That combined with Tonka, Park and now Edina as perhaps a top ten team I still give the nod to the Riverview as the best league.....perhaps not by much though.

| I was looking at the results. White Bear Township also beat Rosetown, Green Mill and swept Tri City (who is down this year).

| White bear is not as good as people think. They got 10 runned by St. Anthony. If you are in the top 20 in the state, you should not be getting 10 runned by a team like St. Anthony. No offense to St. Anthony, but Moe's is a much better team up and down than White Bear.

| Edina is solid and I have already plugged them. As further evidence to the strength of the Riverview all I have to say is look at the league results (scores) for just about any team or rather the top six or seven teams in their league games. You will see alot of 4-2, 4-0, 5-3, 2-1 ect scores even when middle of the pack teams play the bigger dawgs. That is because everyone of the top seven teams in the league has any where from 5-10 legit pitchers on their staffs.
Case in point we all know Tonka is very legit but here are some of their league results in the riverview.
3-2 NW Redhawks....Redhawks are 3-5 league 4-0 Hopkins..Hopkins is 3-6 league 4-0 Brooklyn Park..BP is 4-3 league 5-2 Richfield (only one win in league games) 5-3 Edina (Edina has four league losses now)
Those are five of Tonkas nine league wins.
Hopkins is down as far as hitting but they can pitch and go deep there here are some of their league resluts.
0-5 Park 3-0 NW 0-4 Tonka 1-0 Westside (winless in the league) 1-4 Edina 1-2 Edina 0-1 Bandits
Hopkins is 3-6 in the Riverview
With that being said Edina lost to Brooklyn Park yesterday. Brooklyn Park is no slouch by any means and they should be taken very seriously. They were down 1-0 to Tonka through seven and lost 4-0. They were ahead of Park 5-4 through seven and lost 10-5
There is no doubt in my mind that looking at the posted top 20 rankings that Brooklyn Park is better then the clubs ranked 15-20 starting with the Angels and their .500 record.
The Riverview is dominated by pitching and has perhaps the two best hitting teams in the state for Class A....Park is over ten runs per game for all games and I doubt any other club can say that.
Yes I am on the biased train as some have said but just like everyone else I promote my league.
Facts are facts though and those are such as but not limited to...a good share of the Riverview teams play difficult non-league schedules, there is a ton of pitching and it is safe to assume that Park and Tonka are both top five atleast so how can the Riverview not be the best league for Class A in the state?
Just my opinionlesses......from what little I know.

| Uh oh, looks like the Hogs knocked down another team in the top 20! Hogs beat Stockmen's 8-2. So far that's Stockmen's, Rosetown, Woodbury once, and a 10 run of White Bear. Someone really needs to take a look at the bottom half of that top 20. If you are just throwing teams out there, then it should be restricted to the top 10.

| So how are there 5 teams "ranked" from the Skyline and the Rooster who have swept Stockmen's and beat Green Mill among others don't have enough to crack the top 20? I mean they are in 1st place.......Weird.

| Yeah, how are the Rooster not up there and Woodbury and Township are? There is obviously no logic behind these rankings.

| Better question: Why are you complaining about Township being in there when Green Mill is also in there? Green Mill is down this year. Their conference record is below .500 and Township beat them. Complain about them cracking the list first.

| If people have an issue with the rankings, then you should throw some of your own thoughts out there, or create your own list .... instead of griping and whining about why your team is low, or not on it. Obviously it's not a real ranking, it's one guy who just put a list together, so there is going to be discrepancies as he obviously can not watch every team so it's mostly hearsay.

| In regards to the rankings: I appreciate hearing more feedback about teams. They are only a reference point and meant for fun but I can only base the rankings on games that i have seen, this sites website, and standings from team wesbites and talking to a few people familiar with class A. By no means are they going to be perfect as teams like St Anthony, Brooklyn Park, Rooster and Moes do not have or keep there websites current. Id advize anyone from these teams to create a free website from either league line-up, or ballcharts.com and upload there link to the MBA wesbite.
