| I have to tell you I've followed the OVBL for years...known guys that played for Maynard, Barton, and Weirton. Seen some great players - seen some average players. Now when I heard who Barton had slotted to take the mound Game 3 of the league finals, I almost fell out of my recliner laughing. If Kolvek actually takes the rubber Friday, I will be there to watch the "Gulf War-esque" shelling Maynard puts to him. I predict 6 runs by the 3rd inning before he gives himself the heave-ho! See you there...I'll be the one in the bleachers trying not to laugh so hard I distract the rest of the team. Good luck Barton (I think you may need it Game 3).

| Damn, I am getting ripped on my own site, not to mention the OVBL site. THis old arm still has some innings left, plus my "D" is pretty good. I hope to see you there. Maybe you and I can drink beer together after the game. Be sure to identify yourself Friday night.

| As this is all in good fun, I'd love to see Mike throw against Maynard in the finals,though I don't think he wants to throw away the series that easily.

| I didn't know that it was a requirement to be an asshole on here, but then again you're on here so it must be..And if you are to slow to follow that, you won't pitch because you'd rather give the braves a chance to win, something you would not be able to accomplish.

Muscles tend to atrophy when you do nothing but sit on your ass and comment about what others are doing. So had you actually fallen I'm sure it would have taken a team of trained professionals to get you back in there. Maybe you should have some on speed dial just in case you reach too far grabbing for your MGD. Secondly, I'm sure your 1992 mullet matches your great "Gulf War" topical reference. Well done.
Kolvek=lame (really creative!), I guess intelligence=lame TOO. If Mike is "to slow to follow this" I guess I am TOO. Apparently we can add English to the list of things they don't teach kids in Maynard along with proper hygiene and social skills. And seriously? Asshole? If you can't take it, don't dish it out.

Based on the depth and substance of your reply, I will refrain from referencing your ID as your apparent SAT score. That said, you make a number of good points…all of them in response to kolvek=lame. My points, however, still have merit (of course they do, they’re mine!).
First of all, MGD is a fine adult beverage – when served with a delicious Mexican TV dinner. Secondly, I was attempting to give Mike a reference point to go on with my “Gulf War” reference. Let’s keep things straight, Mike is the one who was a sophomore in college while the first Bush was in office – not me (just kidding Mike, I know you’re real age). And laugh all you want at the “6 in 3” sign…I will be there supporting Barton – and willing to buy Mike a beer if he holds Maynard to 5 or less!!!
And to deepthroat, you’re assuming I’ve never gotten a base hit off of Mike (hmm….)

| Game3heckler i dont know what you have done in the past but batting practice and soft toss do not count as a hit.I could be wrong and you are a stud on the diamond and i would be wrong but i just thought that maybe during game 3 they could hold up the game after the 3rd inning and you and mike could face off on the diamond and if you get a hit he buys you a beer and if you dont you buy him one.

| haha the thing about kids in maynard really actually made me laugh..just like mike does, its hilarious. to bad i'm not from there, nor play for them. its just something i've seen over the years watching them..im still laughing at how he stole my quotes from the other forum, some 'manager' he is to not be able to come up with something to say.

| First off "D.B." (Kolvek=lame) I never gave the paper that quote, he never even contacted me for that article. All the quotes he had from me were from 7-12-09. Second, that would be nice to face off with the heckler, but I have some insider info that he is one of us! I like your style Heckler! Still, Lame needs to fess up. That’s an excellent idea, but I’ll go one step further. How about when Mike loads the bases in the top of the 3rd, I come in to drive home (with what I predict would be a stand-up double) the 5th & 6th run for Maynard. Then I get to watch, from 2nd base, while Mike goes to the bullpen for Mr. 100 himself – Big Lefty, Joel Atkinson. Now that would be worth buying Mike a beer :)

Where do you think old slapnuts “Kolvek=lame” is at tonight? In earlier posts, captain cornhole there called Old-man Kolvek an “asshole” who wasn’t much of a manager. Looks like the old boy inspired his team to a 4-0 asspounding of your Maynard Manwhores! Sad part for you reject is that it could have been worse (work on those LOB’s there coach).
“Throw away the series” you wrote lame-ass….what series? All Kolvek is gonna need come Friday is a broom. Give Heckler some credit - he got it right – “6 in 3.” The only problem with it is that Kolvek will likely have 6 K’s in 3 innings.

| WOW! And you all thought that I was brutal! There seems to be a pissing match going on here. Yet there only appears to be one or two of you actually backing up what your chirping about. | first off, zac pitched a hell of a game..deff has had maynards number in those last two games. good luck to both clubs on wednesday, maybe maynard should screw w/ the defense that has been working for them, and more than two hits wouldnt hurt them either. The braves got the hits when they needed them and the reds didnt.
As for everyone else, im sorry you can't handle a little fun and try to push the issues here haha, you obviously still think that i am a member of maynards team from the things you have posted, which is also funny. and you still complain about not knowing who i am, which makes it all the better that it bothers you. so bigdog, ice whore, and the rest of you barton butt-fuckers can keep entertaining me with this since you are taking it all so serious. and im sure the all powerful runner of this awesome site can kick me off if everyones still so uptight.
