| Hey fellas,
I was going to write this earlier in the week, but have been busy and didn't get around to it until now. I was pretty happy about how we stuck in the game last week. In situations like that when all hell breaks loose and nothing is going your way, a lot of teams crumble and fold up. That's the difference between average teams and good/great teams. Average teams quit and fold up. Great teams get tough and find a way to fight back in and that's exactly what we did. Nobody complained about how we were missing some guys, nobody gave up and thought, oh well, this game doesn't matter, we've already won the league.
Instead, Mau goes up, drops a bomb and it's on and on till the break of dawn.
We've gotta carry that fire over to this weekend and into the playoffs. No matter what happens, this team can fight out of it. The bullseye we had before has gotten much bigger, and every team we face is going to be looking to knock us off. We're getting everyone's best shot from here on out, and at times we'll probably get in some situations that aren't ideal. No matter what happens we have to rely on the 10-15 guys in our dugout and have each others backs when things get tough.
This team is special fellas, remember the opportunity we have and let's take full advantage of it. We do that by playing our asses off and having fun. I can't wait to get up to Solon and play some ball. See you boys there.
