| There have been discussions about having a tournament to honor Kenny the founder of the WHISL formerly known as the NEPSL. In a way to honor Kenny and the many friendships that the league has created there is talk of having a first ever WHISL draft. This will enable guys from other teams to get to know other guys in the league on other teams. This draft will be made up of members of the league that are interested in playing. An example of this would be during the Billy Hamilton tournament the members of Fresh Works and Remax combined teams and created Re- Works. From a personal stand point I did not know many guys on the Remax squad. By combining teams I was able to meet new friends and continue Kenny traditions of meeting new friends in a competitive softball environment. The respective captains will draft players and teams will be chosen and a one day tournament will be played. More details and specifics can be worked out in the future. If we are going to do th lets get it together and see what happens.
