| Let's throw some dates out there and come to an agreement on when we want to have it. I'm thinking before Harvest Days if that works for everyone else.

| I am going to St Louis to watch a cards game that weekend, and would like to make it back to watch the Twins/Rangers at the dome. That is a Sunday, right? Nope Saturday. Maybe I will converse with myself some more and then Juliet to figure something out. Where are you looking at having it?

| Yes, the party will definitely be family style. Once we get a consensus on the date and location we can figure out who can bring what for food and drinks

| The farm sounds like it would be the ideal place. Even if it rains, still got a big shed to party in and play games. The 19th or the 26th works for optional days. Wondering if everybody would be able to make back to back weekend events for the team(Harvest Days previous weekend). Whatever works for the majority.

| Either the 19th or the 26th should work for me. If the whole family comes along, it won't seem so much like just a baseball thing.
Farm is good-much fun can be had. Would your dad be able to do a wagon ride or two? I know my kids loved it at Todd's wedding.

| Here ya go boys!
“Well, you see, Norm, it’s like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it’s the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.
In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.
And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.”

| The 19th looks like the day. We have another event going on earlier that day that shouldn't interfere with the baseball party. I'll have lots of sweet corn to eat for supper and depending on what is left over from what ever we sell at Harvest days, most of our meal may be taken care of. Then we can just bring pot luck deserts or salads. I'll also harness the horses and give rides around the farm. Most of you know how much room we have so bring family, friends and fans. Starting at 2:30 or 3 is fine or even a little later. There is lots of room around here so come when ever you want and have a day.

| I will be there at "whenever I get there" sharp and I will gladly bring a dish, with food in/on it, to pass. And I would further like to add that a certain high school football coach should really learn to take it a wee bit easier on teams that are not quite as good as his is. I think you know who I'm talking about Coach Fisk!

Here's what we could have as a tentative menu:
Burgers, brats, BBQ, and I believe John said sweet corn as well. I'll bring some brownies (no, not the special brownies).
We've got pop left from Harvest Days, but we'll have to pick up some beer.
Sound good?

| That's hilarious. Good one Jay!
But the supreme fries cost more like $3.00.
Dad said we could take some of his brats (the venison kind), but if you just want hot dogs we can do those instead.
I suppose the ladies would appreciate a salad or something. I've heard on more than one occasion that a cookout should consist of more than meat and beer. I don't know what they're talking about, but I'm open to suggestions.

| O.K. The main meal is set. Brats, some hotdogs, BBQ, hamburgers, and corn. Since nobody else is saying much, why don't people bring whatever snacks they want. As for drinks, we will have two partial half barrels (OML and Schlitz. Hey, it's free) We can get 30 packs of OML, which is the official beer of the Brill Millers. People can bring any specific drink that they want. Anybody else have any ideas or input?

And let me set the record straight Jay. I won't eat chips right away. It won't be until after we eat all the food (except for chips of course) and the beer is about half gone, that's when I'll hit my chip eating stride.
Oh yeah, I'm bringing the burgers, brats, and brownies.
