| Going to be a great finish guys...I keep hearing that the majority of the games are competitive and exciting...
Who are the hottest and coldest teams as of right now based on their current performances?
NVision - 10 - 1 - 1 over their last 12
Bistro - 1 - 10 - 1 over their last 12
Your thoughts?

| That is not Nvision's record the last 12 games. Or at least not according to their Schedule.
I would absolutely agree that they are one of the hottest teams out there right now.
However, the hottest team out there, hands down, no if ands or buts, has to be without a doubt The Unionville Arms. I mean this was a team that was near dead last like 13 games ago. They now are up there with the league leaders in runs for, and are making a very compelling argument for winning it all. I they are in 5th overall. How is that even possible, coming from where they came from?
As for the coldest team? Well, I just dont talk bad about other teams......but, it seems like its the team, who gets on the bad side of that one armed ump.

| Yikes, Mr. Third. You’re playing with fire getting on the umpires.
What team do you play for again???

| Crupi is the best team right now. This coming from a TL fan, yes even the once pathetic law boys are on a streak, but it’s true.
I am now jumping on the Crupi bandwagon with my ankles taped just in case I have to jump off.

With all the upsets and strange events that even Nostradamus couldn’t predict, I had to call in professional help and consult with my mentors the great and mighty SWAMI and Carnac “The Magnificent for this week’s predictions. Let’s see what we came up with for this week’s match-ups!
1. Remax vs. Ed’s Nvision: Who would of “thunk” it, the old Jakes leading the entire league after 20 games. NO WAY, but it happened in this bizzaro world of men’s slo-pitch. Remax (The playoffs killer) will try again to pull off a huge upset this week. SWAMI, Carnac and I are all in agreement and say it won’t happen Nvision is too strong for the old boys and will solidify first overall with a win.
2. Angus vs. Grocer: A bunch of rough and tumble hitters who drag charged hoses around against a bunch of guys that sit behind desks in Dockers and loafers all day…should be easy pickings for the Angus right? Wrong! However the three of us disagree on this one, I and Carnac pick Grocer while the SWAMI picks the butchers to take one here. SWAMI just feels it’s wrong for golfers to beat butchers!
3. Bistro vs. Crupi: Bistro hasn’t been on track since week five of the season, and is not living up to the early hype. Still SWAMI thinks this is the week for the Bistro to shine and picks them to beat Crupi by one. Carnac is calling for Crupi to blow Bistro out.
4. Griffith vs. Wing It: Last year this was the conny championship, this year it is just two teams that were slow getting out of the gate and are starting to break out. SWAMI is taking Griffith to take it by fiveand Carnac is calling for the Wing It blowout by ten.
5. DST vs. MAS: DST is having their typical year and just flat out winning. MAS thus far have been having a down year…but we all agree that DST will win this one.
6 .Arms vs. Ed’s Nvision: SWAMI says he loves the chatting from the young Arms but they will not come out on top of this one. He also says that don’t worry juvenile youngsters, your constant chirping will unite the entire world in the future and that is more important than a game. Carnac says it is not in the cards this week for the Ed’s, and I say that Ed’s is just too tough for not so bogus and no longer heinous Arms. Party on dudes!
7. DBS vs. Flakeboard: DBS has a nice little squad this year and is capable of stealing a few games if you’re not careful with them…take it from me I know. All three of us agree that Flakeboard is too tough this year and will take it here.
8. Game of the Week: MAS vs. Kelsey’s. Never mind game of the week, this is the game of the year here for draft picks. In the immortal words of Carmine Maroni: “This means FARDIGAN WAR”. Going to be two extremely hard fought battles. SWAMI and Carnac are calling for Kelsey’s, but I will be putting my nuts on the line and is calling for MAS to be victorious! That’s right…I’m not fooling around here on this one and I’m calling for Norman and company to take care of business.
SWAMI, Carnac “The Magnificent” and I wish everyone good luck this week.
See You Out There!

| What is obvious to even the most casual observer is that the rest of the league teams are rapidly aging and in decline. The Unionville Arms, on the other hand, are in their ascendency, having infused their already formidable base of players with fresh, young (and fast) talent. They will be a formidable force for the next ten years.

| If the score on that Griffiths - Plumbers Game is accurate, you didn't win any sportsmanship points last night. I wouldn't want to face them in the playoffs. Yes, it's a rarity that your team scores that many and you probably got a little excited, but... might want to think twice about running the score next time. Just some friendly advice.

| Mellowing Out - Talk to anyone on the Plumbers and they will tell you that we stopped running the score at the beginning of the second inning. They called the game after 3 innings, because it wasn't a whole lot of fun for either of us.

| The squad that is burning up the score sheets is definitely Crupi with the Griffith a close second. The coldest team is Bistro. I voted for Crupi in the poll because they do not play good defense and I get on every time we play.

| True...but Crupi is proving a few nay-say'ers wrong. Their bats will probably fold like a cheap Moore's suit.
That is unless they play Harding in the playoffs..

| I won't make any predictions, but will comment that the most interesting tier is A. Every team in that 5 team tier had a chance to win that tier. All are capable of knocking off the first place team, Nvision is very overrated. In only one year, the men in powder blue have turned everything around and become a powerhouse team. It will be their bats that will ultimately let them down. If batters six to the end can hit one hit per game, they may be able to make up for last years early playoff exit. Whoever team 9 & 10 are will be very hot teams. Griffith is a great story. Competing at a high level all season with few off season changes. I hope they make it.
