| Frank-I don't know what you're on, but the Vikes aren't going to be anywhere near the Super Bowl, unless of course they take their ticket alotment and sit in the stands.

| Just you watch, Chris. They were 10-6 with Tarvaris or 9-7. Just watch. The D will lead at least the NFC, probably the NFL. They get EJ Henderson back, Sharper is finally gone, linebackers get to go back to their natural positions, no more Napoleon Harris... and on and on and on. I am starting to rethink my Indians WS title pick, but this time I am right!!!

| Kirby, how did Peterson fair for you in your first real regular season fantasy game? Might want to sit him against the Lions though

| I posted one of the highest scores anyone in the office has seen in fantasy football. 159 points, my opponent scored 81, and the next closest person in the entire league scored 109.
I can't take any credit for this because Hill drafted my team for me, but it's still kick-ass. Now if AP can keep doing just as good and still have the Vikings lose, that'd be awesome!

| AP is simply football at it's finest. He's so good it makes me want to puke. Glad the Pack only has to see him twice a year. The other 14 games I like him!

| My prediction is that the Vikes will go 14-2. A loss to the Steelers in Pittsburgh and the Giants the final game of the season, only because they will be resting their starters for the playoffs!!! Then it will be a rematch of 35 years ago, Vikings vs Steelers in the SB in Miami.
In other MN news, big weekend for the Twins. The Tigers are struggling and are ripe for the pillaging.

| Franky, Franky, Franky. I like your enthusiasm. Not grounded in reality at all, but definitely full of enthusiasm.
AP is good, but did anyone notice that about the only thing Favre did that one of our previous QB's probably wouldn't have done was get sacked 4 times.
Teams are still going to crowd the line of scrimmage and take their chances on getting beat by a 40 yr old, gray haired, torn rotator, waffling, look at me QB.
And this is for Kirby-GO TWINS. A sweep this weekend would be huge!!

| Chris, go be a Packer fan. Favre made good 3rd down passes and had a couple dropped my suggestion is this, watch this link http://www.vikings.com/media-vault/videos/Anatomy-of-a-PlayPetersons-64-yard-TD-Run/130434ee-bda7-4609-b306-f72499904ff4
Even if they crowd the line, it doesnt matter!!!! This will only open up opportunities for the pass game. You will be really embarrassed when the Vikes do well this year and all you did was bash them and not cheer for the guys on the team. Anyway enjoy the show.

| It's Franky in my world, bitches.
Don't get me wrong, I'm cheering for them. I'm just doing it cautiously. I all too clearly remember the 1999 season (15-1), best damn team in the league that year. This year could be the same thing, just a little bit different.

After defeating two perennial powerhouse teams in Cleveland and Detroit (both on the road no less), I don't see how they can be stopped.
Skoal Vikings!

| Hey Fire Pit-have you noticed that none of the "experts" are talking about the Purple Pride yet? That's good. Let them fly under the radar all season long, dinking and dunking their way to win after win.
Twins are 2 1/2 back with under 2 weeks to go. It's going to be exciting, but I think they'll need to take 3 of 4 from Detroit to really give them a chance.

| Unfortunately, I think both teams are delaying the inevitable. The Tigers outfielders are laughable, and the twins just dont have the pitching required. With the way the Tigers play defense, they have no shot at beating the Yanks. oh and uh... Skol Vikes, Maverick busted out the whole Skol Viking fight song yesterday... I almost cried...
