| Yes, the Remax team is pleasantly surprised with our performance. We are a veteran team (many of us have more trophies than space for them) and we are surprised that the rust has begun to come off now. We are anxious to see where things take us because we haven't gotten even close to reaching our potential. I don't see the need to bash our team. I mean if we recap the games on an older veteran laden team there are a lot of positives such as making plays, battling and not packing it up when we were down, getting runners on. I think the last few games we did descent (against a known powerhouse in the league and gauge where we stand). I will not say that it was a good show because a good performance would be shutting another team out or scoring more runs then we put up. Our team hit the ball fair and we have work to do. As far as bashing the ball over the field, that might be a stretch since I do not constitute lazy flies over Crosby a home run. A GOOD team will be able to adjust and hit the balls in the gaps or line drives (I guess this is what happens during the playoffs but not the regular season). Regardless of what happened in July and August games, it WAS ONLY the regular season. It was not playoffs and we did not win a thing at this point. I am enjoying the competition and this message board because I feel it has fueled some descent summer games. I hope the younger teams respect the history of the league and maintain that tradition. I hope all other teams in this league play the way we are all capable and have some battles this September. OHHH, I love this game!

| Remax has a real good core of guys, no doubt about that depending on whom they bring in to the games and how they work together. They have a good shot and could be there when the dust settles having experience definitely doesn’t hurt ya. All I have to say is finish ahead of them in the playoffs so you can be the home team. If they beat you can’t bitch and whine like previous years. I give these guys a lot of credit they did it the right way struggled thru the season then turn it on in the playoffs. You can tell that they are hungry, talented and the chemistry is good but u get a hungry team vs a team whose won it and are kind of going thru the motions watch out id take a hungry team any day.
