| Directions: Take Rt. 15 south through Thurmont and turn left on Blue Mountain Rd (at grade intersection). Go through the stop sign at the bottom of the hill. Our house is about 400 yards on the left. The house is brick and blue siding. My truck will be sitting in the yard. Please park to the right of it in the yard if the driveway is full. The address is 7036 Blue Mountain Rd, Thurmont, Maryland for anyone with a navigator. My cell number is 301-305-3746 if you get lost.
Time: I expect to have the food ready around 6, but everyone is welcome to show up any time after 4. The pool feels like bath water right now, and I’ll have horse shoes set up also.
What to bring: As Scottie said, it will be BYOB. If anyone would like to bring a dish or desert, it would be appreciated but not necessary. If you are going to bring something, please let me know in advance so I can make sure we don’t have 20 dishes of macaroni salad (although that would kick ass- I see Herp and Mikey in a salad wrestling match).
We have a large selection of pool chairs, but you may want to bring a chair anyhow. They are not always the most comfortable chairs and can be a little bulky if you want to move them out in the yard. Also, don’t forget to bring any broken bats that you would like to donate to fire pit. I have a pretty good pile of them, but it never hurts to have more.
If anyone would like to spend the night, they are more than welcome to sleep in the house, or put a tent up in the yard.
The only thing that we ask is that no one please let Burt out of the house after 11:00. I’m sure one laugh and the neighbors will have the cops there in no time.
