| This game was a good hard nosed Salem/Paoli game...too me it looked like Salem was in a transition period from havin depth at Runningback to youth at Runningback...think thats what slowed Salem's attack dowb but The Rams' defense looked real good though looked quicker and fast to the ball...but still like last year loked like it was up to the Linebackers and Secondary to make the plays...seemed like the line got pushed around at times but at the same time they were occupying the line so the other defenders could get to the ball..which if it gets to sectional and that's still the case might be some trouble for opponents...the only complaint I had was that the passing game just wasn't there yet for The Rams...looked sharp on the passes to Smith and Randolph for the 2 touchdowns but looked a little sloppy the other times they passed...of course i'm the type of guy that comes from the mindset that if you are good you should throw all you have out there and let the other team look at it as "here it is now try and stop it"...Shepard did a good job running the ball he hits the hole fast goin to be a good sidekick to Dillard this year...other than thinkin The Rams should've won 45-50 to zero nice game to start off the season with...would like too see the passing game get rolling...the defense looked fast and sharp which will be somethin I think will be talked about statewide before the seasons over with...I think they need to come out with some "Purple Pain" shirts for the defense...in my opinion I say by week 5-6 The Rams will be a dominating team and the road to a conference title and sectional title will be underway.
