| Why does a team like complete plumbing get a shot at playing in the championship side? If you end up in the bottom eight and win, you should take your connie trophy home and celebrate your ineptitude of the past season. Why do we play the 25 game season? To let the top 10 teams play for the championship is the correct answer.

| I accept the fact that there are positives and negatives to the playoff format but any team that can play 8 games over 2 days (and win 7 in a row) deserves to hold the crown of USPL champions. Wing it played 4 games over the weekend and that was due to the fact they played well in the regular season and in the round robin - remember last year Wing it did the same thing as CP did this year and they will be the first to tell you that there is a huge advantage to making it into the championship side. Congrats to both Harding and Wing It for a great playoff weekend.

| In the spirit of the USPL, the change was made several years ago to make the playoff weekend exciting for all teams, not just the top 10.
Since the format change, we have not had a Connie Champ win the whole weekend, and the format makes their journey far more grueling than if you come from the Championship side.
If you can't beat a Connie Team coming over on Sunday then the one thing that should be questioned is your teams inability to beat them, not the format itself.
Most people that have an issue with the format, are the ones who just finished losing to the Connie Team Sunday morning. Don't question the format, question why you can't beat them.

| I'm against the format and have been since its inception. I would not go so far as some others and suggest connie teams should "celebrate their ineptitude" but I will say they are on the connie side for a reason. That reason is their play in the regular season alone. If the connie side isn't "exciting" for them, oh well. To be able to play-in negates the regular season entirely. My team lost to CP fair and square this weekend and I don't argue that. What I do take issue with is that we were even in the position in the first place. Our league improved a great deal this year. The parity was excellent. But that shouldn't mean that making the championship side is of no value. Perhaps this is something to be voted on at the next AGM?

| Jamie B, you make some valid points. The issue then is why even have a connie side? The winner of the connie side has never recieved a prize for winning, ever, hence why no one in past years on that side has even tried or cared. give the teams on the bottom (those that deserve to be there and those that just missed out) something to play for on the final weekend. look at Just Wing it, if Plumbers had of tried their last game and beat kelsey's then Wing it would have been in the bottom and Plumbers would have made the top 10 and look how far Wing it went. Anyone can win at any given time but give the bottom teams something to shoot for the last weekend or keep it the same.

| I think its a great idea...its not like all 8 teams make it. 1 does. Once they are knocked out (which has happened since the change) it doesn't alter a thing...most people afraid of it, are those afraid of playing a hot team....
