| Why is it that you can't go to your mouth on the mound but Andy Pettite (Yankee) can blow into his hand and then slobber all over the ball while he is breathing into his mitt? Seriously, that can't be legal. I think I may puke if I have to see one more high def. close up of him giving his glove and the ball CPR!
Can't wait to watch the World Series.

| They allow you to blow when it is cold outside, ie below 60 degrees I think. I was just called a "great football mind" by my Viking football idol, Paul Allen. I love the Vikes and the heart and fight and determination they show. Even without Winfield, Berrian, and any decent officials, they fight and fight and fight.
MIN penalties=11 PIT penalties=3
hmmmm.... oh well the Vikes are the best team in the NFC, anybody questioning the pass D against the leagues best pass offense??? I love it

| Ok, enough football talk, this is getting ridiculous. I don't care if you're a viking or a packer fan, someone starts talking ALCS baseball and it deteriorates to football almost instantly. Frank, you have to start new threads if you want to talk football,i will no longer allow primarily baseball discussions to be turned into football discussions. I may even block all football discussion until the world series is over! okay, i probably won't do that but i want you to know i'm upset (not really, but as upset as I get about forum issues).
Anyway, i understand the blowing on your hand in cold weather rule, but I don't understand why he's allowed to put his entire mouth in his glove. He could be licking the ball for all we know. Considering the fact that he's a Yankee, I'm pretty sure that's exactly what he's doing when his mouth is in his glove. I am shocked that there's not a rule against that. Also, I think a couple of his pickoff moves were balks

| Lefties always balk!!!!!! It's only legal for a lefty to throw to first base if he's on your team.
I am sure Andy's breath is moisture free, but seriously, doesn't that seem odd that he can do that with the "best" umpires in the world watching? Just seemed odd to me. It's almost as bad as that kid wiping his hand on the ground 7,000 times between pitches down in Carson Park this year.

| Yes, lefties always balk, the good ones anyway.
Who gives a crap about the ALCS!!! It was over a long time ago!!! The WS should be pretty good, but boy the games seem even more long and drawn out than usual. I fell asleep, which rarely happens during sporting events... but I fell asleep during the game last night.
The sad thing is that regular season football is more exciting than watching a lot of these playoff games. Sorry to burst your baseball bubble Brunclik. (say five times fast)
I am starting to find that the only exciting baseball time is playing the game or watching it live. You get very little out of a game announced by Joe Buck and Tim McCarver. Skip Carey and Joe Morgan actually bring something extra to the game, not Joe Buck, he is "the most disgusting thing I have ever seen" (Randy Moss mooning the Lambeau crowd...lol back to football)

| I HAAAAAATE Joe Buck.
Loved seeing Artie Lang grill him on the first episode of his own show. Not sure if anyone else saw it, but it was definately R-rated and hilarious. Probably true too. I'm too lazy to post a link but everyone here besides Frank is a savvy internet user.

| I'm not a huge Buck or McCarver fan but they sure beat the hacks they had on TBS for the division series.
As for the excitingness of this post season. I've been pretty entertained by the games. A lot of extra innings games and come-backs, unfortunately its usually the Yankees coming back.
I do hate the constant pitching changes and super long games. It seems like you can finish 6 innings in an hour and 45 minutes then it takes another 2 hours for the final 3 innings. Pretty soon you'll have one pitch specialists who just come in and throw one curveball to get ahead 0-1, then they'll change pitchers to put in a guy who will throw one hard fastball, then bring in another guy who will throw a changeup to finish the hitter off.

| Kirby-please don't give Girardi any ideas!!!!!
Frank-the Vikings haven't played the 2 best passing offenses in my opinion - the Patriots and Saints. They held up pretty well against the Steelers, so hopefully they can keep it up.
Hah-brought football back in. Now I'll probably get blocked!

| Stat wise the Steelers are, or should I say were the best in the league. After they threw for 170 against the Vikes they are now 5th. They are behind Indy, Hou, SD, and NE in passing yards/gm. But Big Ben was averaging like 320 or so. You can bid on ebay to have John Randle and Antonio Freeman come to your house with beer and food for Sunday's game. The bid was at $2225 last I checked!!! Could you imagine sitting with John Randle for three hours!! go to ebay.com/millerlite
