Thoughts?

| I am very sad. Gomez was the most electric player to watch on the Twins. It especially makes me upset because this probably means there's no chance we'll go after O. Cabrera again, another favorite of mine. I just hope JJ can return to his 06-07 self.

| I don't get it!!!!! This is very frustrating! Is it a money issue???? I would take O.C. over any shortstop in the league right now! How could they????? Yes, 7 even Jeter! We are losing a sparkplug and in the process of losing a leader! You might as well put Morny, Cuddy, and Spanny on waivers and let Mauer go to the Yanks next year!!! Or, maybe they will make J.J. a third/second baseman. The only saving grace is that the Twins have done some really dumb things in our minds before and they have turned out to be magnificent! Let's hope for the same!

| Makes some sense to me. Too many outfielders...It also tells me that they're going to be sticking with Young. But Span needs to be on the field every day. He's proven that over the past 2 years. Gomez may be electric when things go well, but electricity in small doses doesn't kill anyone, it just wakes them up.
I like Cabrera, so hopefully they'll keep him and move JJ to third. Could Cabrera play third?
Oh, by the way-Gomez was one of the key components of the Santana trade. How are the other young kids from that deal coming along? Couild turn out to be a bad one.....

| Why not move Cabrera's weak throwing arm to 2nd, put JJ at short and have punto play 3rd? Cabrera did spark the team this year, but you have to look at overall numbers, around .250 and 10 HR is not that good for a shortstop anymore. I like him as a player, but I think we got a little more than should be expected in the future, plus he is getting old.

| Noid, you'll be so old that you can legally play in the 35 and older tourney. There was a time when I thought that was old, but now it's not looking so bad.

| I'll be playing in the tourney with my walker and cane. Go ahead and try to tag me and I'll beat you down!
The thing that's hard is to remember I can't play/drink like I could when I was 25!

| Be happy that you could drink and play when you were 25. I'm only 24 but I can't drink the night before a game without taking a nap in the outfield the next day

| That is easily one of my favorite Brill baseball moments! Kirb, curled up in the fetal position. Leaving in the 7th inning.
Now you can imagine how I feel the next day when I try to keep up with you and Todd on a night out.
