| If people are interested in have a spring league this year it will start on March 4th or when weather permits. No draft league this year.
220.00 per team thats 20.00 per person for 11 on team. Same rules as last year 3 outs or bat through the line up 1 time.This is for MENS,CHURCH,AND CO-ED Need 4 teams for mens and Church together and 4 for CO-ED OR WE CANNOT HAVE A LEAGUE.
Monies will have to be payed by Feb 18th or no spring league

| I did it in the spring draft league because some teams were a lot stronger and they'd go through the lineup more than once before making an out.
Since there is an hour time limit on the games, this helps to keep things moving. Spring league has always been more to just let people get out and play. Not real competitive like the summer leagues.
i think John decided to continue this train of thought.

| I would like to suggest that we not use the bat the line up inning ending rule for spring league. Since we are playing with "regular" teams this spring and not a draft team there may not be an equal number of players on each team. One teams line up may have 14 players and another has 10.
If there is concern that there is a large difference in caliber of teams, maybe the game ending mercy rule can be changed for spring league. Possibly enact the inning ending rule against the team that is ahead rather than end the game. Only allow ten batters per inning for the team that is ahead by a mercy rule score. That way the inferior team gets a chance to continue to compete against a better team. Maybe learn something without continually getting pounded too hard.

| I know this is really, really late but for some reason I just now thought about checking the site about spring ball...

| Does anyone know when the season will start?
The reason I am asking is because I am driving over from Cape Girardeau,Mo.That way I had some idea of what to expect.Any info would be appreciated,THANK YOU.I can't wait to come over and hang out with all of you that I know,(GOOD TIMES TO COME)
