Please no ghost writing!!!!!

It was dead wrong to take that play, but it was allowed to happen.
Over, done with.
We all need to look into the mirror and ask the person we see....how am I looked at by my league mates? Do I play with integrity and honor? Is winning more important than playing fair, and having fun?
This is a great league, maybe the best in the country. We need to continue to respect each other and we need to respect the game.

there is a serious problem with honesty and integrity with some coaches. not all of the coaches cheat and i can say proudly that the philly coaches aren't in the mix with md.coaches when it comes to cheating. this is my first year playing in philly and the truth be told i enjoy playing with and against you guys.i consider myself as an agent or representative of the befl league a league with some the best coaches in the nation. as a agent of the befl it is my responsibility to conduct myself in a professional manner. that doesn't mean i can't crack jokes and talk crap.but what it does mean is for me to play my game with honesty and integrity with respect for my opponent. the hobby was something i enjoyed doing, now it's a headache depending on what coach you're playing. this behavior cannot and should not be tolerated. it's been proven that coaches that cheat at all cost hurt the league in many ways.{ie.enrollment,promoting and financially}i challenge the commissioner to weed these coaches out so the league can prosper. form a commitee just for this behavior and fine or suspend {or both} coaches that have a track record of this behavior. i love this hobby, so can you correct this problem please. p.s. just telling you how most of the coaches feel

question? if you to put a snake in front of a mirror would the image of the snake change? i believe the answer is no! we aren't talking about a misunderstanding of a rule to a first ,or second year coach we're talking veteran coaches{snakes}cheating at any cost! so having said that there's no need for the snake to change as long as he continue to win at any cost the gets larger and larger until he's unable to see himself in the mirror! p.s. just saying what needs to be said.

Perhaps the NEFL Committee should amend its personal conduct policy similar to what the NFL does. If a coach cheats, one time or multiple times, he should pay a penalty for that.
Suspend him from playing 3 games and
forfeit those games as "FWs" to opposing coaches on his schedule. Those forfeits might serve to knock the offending coach from playoff contention, and that may motivate him to think twice before trying to cheat. (But of course, this only applies to a random few. The majority of coaches play with honesty and integrity cheating isn't a notion that would enter their minds).

As I told one NEFL coach in an email, "At the end of the day, you're the guy looking in the mirror. The only relevant question that matters is, 'Did I have fun and did I treat my opponent fairly.'"

nitro i feel your pain and to get cheated on and to continue to play your game really shows how passionate about this hobby. the funny thing about this is it wasn't corrected. he admitted to cheating{jet-i-mind-tricks}and was awarded the game. fellow coaches let me take you back in time. a coach shows up to play his game thinking my team has chance just play my game. game is very close and coming down to the wire. the opposing coach pulls an apple from the tree of knowledge. coach nitro realize the fruit is forbidden, the snake gets coach nitro to take a bite. Awwwwwwwww s*it happens , and it will continue to happen until the shield smite the will of the snake of course. story in short term : when you said the qb was keeping it, thats your ONLY OPTION PERIOD! THROWING THE PASS SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN AN OPTION. HITTING OR MISSING THE WR WHO CARES YOU CHEATED. THE COMMISSIONER SHOULD AWARD TOM THE GAME PERIOD! NEVER AFRAID TO SPEAK THE TRUTH.

WOW, seems like the little things get missed so much that one item gets the max treatment as if it is the same every game everytime....I have seen some of the best "cheat" a play, a movement of players, make a call on a pass play that is clearly intercepted but call complete and vise-verse...we all have had that happen to us over time....

it happens because we are all imperfect....let us not forget that.....

if we all knew and followed the rules to the letter and knew all the rules then I can see where you might want to punish someone...but everyone bends some form of the rules to their advantage....

We all spend our loot to particapate in this league or any for that matter, to have some fun and try to outlast everyone else to win it all...some do their own thing while other buy theirs....still the same thing.... getting the best talent to get the advantage on the next coach to past him on the way to the top....

This has been by far the best season of MF in a long time where everyone is vested to make it to the finish line.

Playoffs are coming....those that are not in there need to make sure we have Refs for the playoffs so that this is a moot point when it matters the most..........

A quote from your post of April 29th ...

"if we all knew and followed the rules to the letter and knew all the rules then I can see where you might want to punish someone...but everyone bends some form of the rules to their advantage...."

I don't agree that everyone bends the rules to their advantage. Personally, I don't because
if the game can't be won legitimately, it's not worth playing.

For example, if a coach cheated his way to the title game, then he didn't get there on his coaching skills he got there by deception, by disrespecting his opponents, the rules, and the game. (Shame on the league if it allowed that to go unanswered).

There's a difference between bending or breaking a rule by cheating and exploiting the rules to your own advantage. One is legal, the other isn't.

Paying $$$ to play in the NEFL (or any other league) isn't a license to abuse the rules.
Yes, sometimes there are honest mistakes from what I've seen this year ... generally caused by a misunderstanding of a given rule. But there are other instances where coaches have tried to "bend" a rule for their own advantage at the expense of another coach. The "League" should have zero tolerance for the latter.
