| i have noticed that sometimes we have one umpire and sometimes 2 umpires. What are we paying for?

| To play ball. Money goes into the account and what is left over is used the next year. They go to a scheduling meeting and ask for 2 umpires for every game. That's it. If someone doesn't show up for work, nothing anyone can do about it.

| IT REALLY IS NOT A MATTER OF "SOMEONE NOT SHOWING UP FOR WORK" BUT RATHER NOT ENOUGH UMPIRES SCHEDULES ARE GONE THROUGH TWICE AT SCHEDULING MEETING TO ATTEMPT TO FILL ALL DATES THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES UMPIRES FOR LEAGUES IN M'BORO/CARBONDALE/MARION/AND ELKVILLE FASTPITCH AS WELL AS DATES FOR RADOM AND PINCKNEYVILLE FASTPITCH TEAMS. LL
