| So its about that time that I do this again its almost " All Star" week. Which means I usually shell out my picks for the post season only to see how wrong I was come October. If you disagree with my picks hit me up most of these i made in April and you can check that out on my facebook page.
A.L. East.
It looked so good for Tampa at the start didn't it? Like they were a team poised for another run. Then within the start of interleague it just came apart. Still they aren't to far behind and with half a season left to go anything can happen but I still cant take them over the Yankees at this point. After all they're still the world champs until further notice and it seems like this year they are getting it done quitely. So until Tampa gathers another miracle run. Its all about New York.
A.L. Central
Without question the most intresting divison in the conference. Three teams all capable of getting it done. The Tigers right now are playing the best at the moment but lets not all forget how the south side boys got off the "L" and rolled 12 to put there name on the discussion board. Still tho it just seems with a new field and a ton of attention on them this year the Twins will be the team to beat reguardless of where they currently sit. If there was ever one race to watch it'd be this one.
A.L. West.
I gotta come clean I dropped the ball big on this one at the start of the year. I picked Seattle to lead the way for me because primarly I was sick of the Angels being good until October and then not getting out of the first round. Time after time, if ever there was a team better at choking then the San Diego Chargers this is them. I've always liked Texas and still to date on this season I watched one of the best games played by them in a thrilling win agains the White Sox. If I had known then what the world knows now I would have been on their ship along time ago instead of just now getting my ticket punched. Great team, with great chemistry and a bunch of players who can flat play. Look for them in the ALCS.
A.L. Wild Card.
Tampa Bay, yeah sorry Boston your too beat up and Baltimore is that still baseball you guys play or the reduced version of it that we get from our local Southern Illinois Miners? Because both are painful to watch but the fact that your boys get paid..alot...almost makes it worse. Tampa, keep doing what your doing, Joe Madden will get you there I have faith.

N.L. EAST
I called it, the Phils are a first half team. Swear to God, I said to anyone who would listen. I said they wont be in first by the all star game and the mathmatical probability of them winning the divison three years in a row in that divison is about as high as me spelling that "mathmatical Probability" part right. [ Just in case i did get it right, the implication was it was low.] What I didn't/ couldn't see however was the Braves, Fish and Mets all playing pretty damn well for at least a while. The Braves..? who in the world saw that?...Be honest. Well I mean Troy Glaus looks like a feared player again and is pretty good at swapping corners, Chipper is holding up but mainly its the pitching that I've seen. Maybe they are playing inspired ball because its Bobby Cox's last year and they wanna send him off as a winner and not send him off in the middle of the fifth because of his 18,917 ejection. Either way if they can keep it up they will hold off Randolph and his surgeing boys. Did you know that since may 22 the Mets hold honors to the second best ( first in the N.L.) record. Well I didn't either until google. That's why they are my pick to win this one. Do me a favor tho and dont forget about those Braves. They'll be back.
N.L. Central.
O M G alert. Who saw this, were talking about the Reds. Lol the a Dusty Baker team. "they wont be good" said the mass public. Well it gives me great honors to say that again I've had their praises all year. ( I was also huge on the Giants and look where that got me.) Seriously tho folks if your still one to doubt these kids please stop. The right mixture of vets and young'ens and a hitters ball park its just unreal. Now lets see if Dusty blows thru his bullpen like he normally does but right now they look great, but lets move on to the only other team in the divison that matters according to standings. The Cardinals, ugh this pains me to say but they don't have it this year unless they make a move by the tradeing deadline I just dont see us going anywhere. With Pujols slumping and our pitching of late it just spells trouble for us. Im sticking with the Reds but please prove me wrong St.Louis
A.L. WEST.
Isn't funny how no one saw the Padres being good. If you would have said better keep an eye on that San Deigo squad people would have laughed and said for what? Now 3 months later and nobody can hit their pitching. Nobody, and I mean its not like this team scores a bunch of runs they really dont its just they only give up on avg like 2. Thats unreal. Also unbeatable. ____________________________________________ We all knew that the West would come down to the gunslingers after all its what the west was built on but the fact that the Giants pitching production has been horrid of late and they're lack of offense is a crushing combination that makes 5 games back have a "only" in front of it. It could be much worse for panda and Lince. Then we move on to the Dodgers and surely everyone thought that ok this is there divison but Joe Torre just didnt have em ready and now they really cant afford to miss a step. I dont know how long San Diego can hold on to all this but i really like the idea of teams whom haven't been there in a while to make it to the tourney so play on players. They get the nod.
N.L. Wildcard
Get the tomahawks ready!!!
So thats it, Disagree? Well to be honest, I dont care lol but if you feel like you need to write it down please do so. Thanks for your time.

| Kevin...great work as always...Baseball tonight is calling...however, I think I must bring to your attention that the twins and white sox are moving in opposite directions... they have lost 12 of last 16 while sox have won 22 of last 27 games...Kind of impressive...for now. Peavy's torn muscle hurts em but they just need to find someone to throw 6 innings of average ball every 5 days to squeek by. Sweaty Freddy Garcia is in 2005 form. Sox may just handle that division barring any Cliff Lee trade by Twins or Tigers. Course I am personallly jockeying a deal for Carlos Zambrano to take the EL down to the South Side!!!
War Dan Gilbert Slamming Lebron...oh wait...wrong sports show! Peace!

| Hey thanks Sam, I think you could be right on. They have been a incredibly hot team in the last month or so. The question is will the all star game stomp the fire or make it burn hotter? It's gonna come down to the last week of the season as always. I wanna touch on your point tho about "Z" it was reported that the day of his erruption he was seen out at dinner with Ozzie. If the Cubs are willing to deal him, his friendship with the White Sox manager could end him up on the southside.
