| I would like to start out by saving i am very SORRY for what i have done. I didn't think about the safety of others or my own selfishness. What i did was wrong and i take full responsibility. I have been able to sit back the last week and think about what i have done and read the comments from my peers. I do not blame anyone for all of the negative comments that i have received. I deserve it 100%. In saying this, there is one thing that does bother me. I made a mistake but most of my team has turned their back on me. I understand why they would, but they are just as much to blame as me. They all were well aware of the bat i was using, and most of them over the course of the season also used my bat. I am man enough to apologize for the mistake i have made, but my teammates should not run me through the coals with them having full knowledge of the situation. They are just as much to blame as i am. I am not trying to get them in trouble by any means. Just come clean like i have and hopefully this issue can go away. Once again i am sorry and i hope i will be forgiven.

| fo sho not brad ! I've known brad and been around him to know he would not write such a gay apology..Haha the only thing he would say is he's sorry ....and for everyone talking crazy to meet him and talk about it :) or at least put a name on all the trash talk so he can meet you at your bar of choice for a nice calm drink hahaha and I would I could join :) people have no.excitement in their lives anymore Sheesh

| I was going to applaud Brad for his honesty only to read the next post that said it wasn't him. Brad if it was you, then thank you for being honest. It takes a real man to own up to his mistakes and tell the truth. Especially in the middle of the storm that surrounds the issue at the moment. The rest of Koonce could learn to be honest. I really hope none of you believe that the rest of SIS actually think that none of you picked up his bat to check it out or even noticed it sitting there against the fence. You may have never actually used his bat, but you can not say that you never saw it and thought wow Miken really f'd up that Freak. The fact that you claim, you had NO idea about it, to me is a joke. I know every bat on our team and while I have not used them all, I have picked them up, looked them over and took a swing or two with each. Honesty is the best policy and the truth shall set you free.

| why would anyone pick up every bat and look at it .....every year people bring different ones and I simply ask which is the best and use it . I mean how hard is it to hit a ball someone lobs to you . I will make it a point to ask if anyone has illegal bats though

| If you have someone 5'8" and a little overweight hitting a ball 100 ft. over the fence you are gonna look at his bat. Several will be tempted to use it and some will. I find it real hard to believe that know one used that bat other than him. Oh wait, i did see other people using that bat. I am not the type to say names and i wouldn't but you know as well as i do 3-4 guys used that bat at least once. Its alright guys i would have been tempted to use that bat also. The guys on your team that are speaking up are stand up guys. Maybe it is just as simple as someone saying we addressed this issue in house and we are sorry for what happened. You don't have to admit you used the bat. And then maybe all of this will stop.

| Dave, with your stats i would consider playing C league next year. Just because you are on an A league team doesn't mean you are good.
