| Is everyone on their own for getting rooms, or is someone reserving a block of rooms? Dacia said there are rooms available in Merrill.

| Keep Rhinelander in mind too. It's only about 25 miles away.
Also, how many moms are going? I may have the girls with me and will need someone to keep an eye on them during the games. My wife is doing a walk in the cities Friday through Sunday and there are no babysitters available. Let me know.

| There are 2 hotels in Rhinelander that are really close to one another and I know for sure one of them has rooms available I am checking on one for us so we can go back to our old stomping grounds for a bit on Saturday and Rhinelander is only about a half an hour away from Tomahawk. Let me know if you want me to block some rooms.

| If you are looking for a nice hotel I just found out that the Quality Inn in Rhinelander still has rooms available. The rooms are $79.99 a night. They do not block rooms because it is only 4 days away so the number is 715-369-3600.

| I was looking at local resorts and at one family owned joint called Leuth Landing there were 2 bed cabins on the lake for $95. There are a ton of them and even though they seem a little more expensive, you only have to drive 10 minutes and you are on a lake. Not sure about availability, but you might want to look into it...plus the couples without kids could share one and really save...

| Found a place 16 mi from Tomahawk called MOran's Landing. they have some 1,2 and 3 bedroom cabins that are open for the weekend and it is $150 for the 1br for 2 nights and $300 for the 3br for 2 nights. I just remember how fun it was to have so much of the team together at ashland and thought that we could really have a good time if we bunked up together again. If you figure 3 couples in the 3br that is only $50/night. Plus there is the kitchen and other amenities... website:http://www.swamph2o.com/

| checked with Econolodge in Merrill, they have availability for 15-20 rooms, $64 plus tax based on 4 people. They said the could basically block of the whole second floor. It's the closest place to Tomahawk and we would all be together. Need to know if we should book them.

| Have you looked at these cottages? I checked out the website and it looks great. They have 8 cabings available. This would give the kids a place to nap as well. Only 15 min from Tomahawk. They have two 3 BR cabins (6 ppl), three 2 BR cabins (4 ppl) and three 1 BR (2 ppl). They also have a bar and grill and plenty of space outside. I assume that we will go with that if Juliet and the babies come.

| I took the initiative to book some rooms, that way we don't get stuck with nothing. We can always back out if there is another option. As mentioned in the previous post, it is the Econolodge in merril about 18 miles south of Tomahawk. I was able to book 21 rooms, so there is more than enough for all families. We would all be together because we would have the whole second floor of the hotel to ourselves. Cost is $64 per night based on 4 people to a room(as far as they would know). As of now, they are booked for Friday and Saturday unless we tell them otherwise. Rooms range from 2 full size beds, 2 queen beds, to one king bed. Lets get some input from everybody on this.

| I think Frank and I are going with the resort because it will be easier to have the extra room and kitchen with the kids. Plus there is a playground and swimming area and since they are hardly booked for the weekend, there won't be too many other people at the swimming area. I thought it would be nice if the team all stayed there because they have fire pits and paddle boats and a pavilion for outside stuff, since we're getting towards the end of this beautiful weather, I thought it would be nice if we took advantage of it. Like I said, I think Frank and I definitely will.

| There is room for people to sleep on a couch in the LR. We will only need 1 room because we only have the babies with us. We will bring a pack n play for D and an air mattress or equivalent for Henry. We could fit a good group to sleep in cabins if we are not too worried about personal space... similar to the cabin we stayed in last year. Just a thought.

| I will be staying at my grandparents house. They live right on Lake Nokomis and my grandma said anyone can use the house if they need anything during the day...naps for kids...using the beach to swim...meals you may want to cook..etc. It's about 4 miles out of Tomahawk so we have a place close by if anyone wants to use it. They will be gone after Saturday morning.
I have two nice air mattresses if anyone needs to use them.

| I booked a two bedroom which has two beds in the second bedroom at Moran's Landing. 715-453-3324. The lady said that she has 7 more rooms available. I asked her about extra people in the cabin and it is $5/night for more than 4 in a two bedroom and 6 in a 3 BR. Everyone should call so that they dont get taken. She sounded very happy about having our "large get together" at her resort.

| I've got one of the 3 bedrooms booked. They allow check in as early as 2, so we could stop by, drop of bags and stuff, and then go hit as well if needed.

| FYI- I changed my room to a 1 BR because I did not get any takers on sharing. I just didnt want to get saddled with the extra rate and extra space that we did not need.

| For anybody who has not already reserved rooms or is not at the same locations as everybody else, there are basically two options as to where the majority of people are staying. The Moran's resort north of Tomahawk (715-453-3324) or Quality Inn in Rhinelander (715-369-3600). Hopefully everybody can be at one of these places.
