| Don't you think $170.00 is a lot of money for playing golf in October. I realize that you are raising funds for charities but this is a little rediculous. I could see it in early September but rates go down a lot in October.

| Um, you can play that course for $45.00 + tax, now, let alone October. And, it's in Pontypool/Peterborough. If, this isn't a joke...it should be.
I know there are better solutions out there...and I'd be happy to help you out.
From Angus Glen, to a potential Coppin Wood, to Black Diamond? WTF...we want to golf for charity not ski...

| Not sure what course your looking at Left-right-out, but I show it as being in Richmond Hill off Leslie street....
I think you may have mistaken it for Black Diamond which is in Peterborough and is $45-$50 to play.

| BTW, Black Diamond out Milbrook way isn’t a bad track, and the price is right.
But Diamond Back is nicer.
However, I tend to agree with Meiry that $170 for an October golf outing is a little on the steep side. I play lots of these kinds of tournaments over the course of a summer, with the high end maybe being $250, and the low end being in the $100 range. But those are SUMMER tournaments. With an October tournament, the weather can be pretty iffy. I’m not sure I’m ready to pay that kind of money, with a 50/50 chance of cold, wet weather, and almost zero chance of a rain date. Jets6400 says life is about choices, and you can play or stay home… unfortunately, maybe more might choose the latter option given the timing and price.
Anyway, something for the golf committee to think about.

| The USPL Golf committee has been working hard on finding a suitable date and package for our tournament this year and have met obstacles and conflicts along the way. Our traditional dates to host the tournament have been in August and last year we moved it to September based on availability of a league sponsor and in an effort to tie the tournament closer to the USPL playoffs.
We had several confirmed options and a date booked for this summer, but acquiesced to other charity golf tournaments happening within the same time frame as ours that are both organized and supported by fellow USPL members. We did this to maximize each groups opportunity to bring in the most for each respective charity and to spread out the cost to the members allowing better participation for all. It was the right thing to do.
We're already working on next years tournament and trust that you will support this years event as you have in the past. It'll be a great day at a great golf course.
