| Hey fellas,
I hope this starts some sort of mutual respect between the Haugen teams, that is severely lacking. I would have put a lot of money down before the playoffs started that you guys wouldn't even have gotten back the to the championship game. It takes a lot to get through each round of the playoffs and I thought last year was your shot. Here's what I learned from you guys this year, you guys know how to get it done when it matters most. The regular season is great, but that's not really why we play. I think most of us play because we love the game and we want to win a title. I don't want to be a hypocrite because there are things that I would go about differently on the baseball field then some of you, and I'm not referring to Travis, but that is not the point of this. The point is that you guys have accomplished something amazing and nobody can ever take that away from you. I have a lot of respect for the difficult challenge it is to become the state champs. You guys deserve it. Congratulations!

| I hope this starts more hatred on the field than there ever was before. You guys suck and were lucky and the umpires gave you the game. Actually, you guys had a great run and completely deserve to be proud. The bases loaded against Plum City with one out in the top of the 10th, taking advantage of EVERY Sparta error, and attacking Onalaska from the get-go comes to mind. Well done. As sick as it made me to see you guys win it, I am proud to call many of you friends (off the field) and am happy that our biggest rival and competitor got IT done. It is awesome that we can field teams to compete with the "big boys" every year. I also want to honestly tell you thanks for being humble and actually congratulating us right after you won a championship, that means a lot to me. Congratulations!

| I'm guessing the rest of the guys aren't awake yet. They were still texting me at 3 AM.
I'll speak for most of them and say thank you for your support guys. We really appreciate it, and it does say a lot about our league when we have 7 teams in the playoffs, and 2 in the final 8. It's a great league, a great game and with out the tough competition all season long there's no chance we would have made it to the state tourney.

| Great job guys. Good teams win the close games and you guys did. Hopefully, we (meaning New Richmond) can play you next year to show some of our guys what playing as a team means. You play the game hard, always hustlin' hustlin', you have great chemistry on your team and genuinely care about each other. When the new Knights were put together about 6 years ago, you all were young and talented. You're now young, talented and have more experience in the playoffs than most guys who have been in the league for a decade. Great job, and don't put too big of a sign at HBP.

| I guess I'd like to start by saying I echo what Frank had to say. Being on a team that has been in a heated battle with your squad a time or two, it comes as a consolation to me that the team we knocked and dragged it out with this year brought home the prize. After years of sketchiness, I've come to respect/admire the squad you guys have. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that I feel the same way towards teams like Brill and the Hornets for the way they get it done every year.
But aside from the baseball part, it has been a blast getting to know you guys. As intense as it gets (say, for instance, a T-Thompson fastball that buzzes your face?), I really admire the thing your team has going. Every team has its bumps and bruises through the summer, but you guys stick together and seem to get it done year after year. Kudos to everyone from Rich & Howard, to the kid who hit the pinch-hit walkoff single against us. You deserve it, you repped our league, and you have the respect & love from this Dirty Bird.
